With this move and hopefully ERod next week, Kreidler should never see grass again, he is a league average defender in the outfield.

Yeah, fingers crossed. I'd like E-Rod to join the mix and Keaschall and even Lee are still part of this  generation that can create a new energy.

Even when they were losing, seeing the young Byron Buxton, Eddie Rosario, Miguel Sano, Max Kepler, Jorge Polanco and Oswaldo Arcia standing on the front step of the dugout cheering every run their teammates got was more exciting baseball. Same happened with the Hunter/Jones/Koskie/Ortiz/Guzman era and obviously the early 80's teams that went on to win championships. I get that veteran players bring other intangibles, but it seems this organization only ever has sustained success when they throw large group of their homegrown talent center stage and give them the reigns.

AAA players force nothing, they wait, do their best and when the turn comes, one way or the other , they get their chance to show if the Choice made by their superiors was a good one.

This one should work out.

I am not sure that Buxton will be on the IL unless something changed today.  They haven't done an MRI last I had heard, so how can you say he's more injured without more tests.  I think they will play short over the weekend to let him get treatment, at least we will have a true center fielder.

But give Zoll credit, Jenkins will not accumulate enough service time in 2026 to get to arbitration a year sooner.
