    10000% could not agree more. You dont trade a all star SP for prospects. people keep whining about not having a competative team but at the same time want to trade our best players. people need to make up their mind.

    This is pure panic talking. If half the lineup and 75% of the bullpen truly "needed to prove it," this team would have lost 100 games. It was a frustrating year, but completely nuking the depth chart because of a bad stretch is how you end up in a perpetual rebuild

He’s had terrible injury luck, and yeah, the numbers dropped, but treating a guy who gave this fanbase some of its best modern memories like he's absolute garbage is wild behavior. You'll be the first one cheering when he bounces back. "Good luck in the KBO" might legitimately be in the top 10 most ridiculous things I've ever heard and that's pretty bad.

    Were not gonna get anyone better, he his our clear and best option for the 2027 season. It's unrealistic to move on he has more years on his contract and his trade value is at a all time low.

    He has the potential. He always has we don't get rid of him he's a leader does well of the feild and is solid hitter and is certainly not as old as you guys are saying. He has more years on his contract and his value is at a all time low. I don't understand how people were all with him when he got moved to 2nd base but now want him gone if we want a better more improved team we have to stick with him. At points he has been top 3 in the leauge in OPS and war.

    Good point it just feels a bit weird how they wouldn't fire most people, our starting pitching at times has been a highlight and it was the best it's ever been in years in 23' under macki. He also really seemed To be able to calm pitcher s down. He was arguably one of the most underrated pitching coaches in the leauge.

If you think the only way to build a winner is by grinding a rookie into dust during a lost season, you're living in a fantasy world. You don’t need to be in the clubhouse to understand basic player preservation—you just need a brain.And please, spare me the 'as a fan I have a right to a winning team' lecture. We all want to win. But doing the 'same thing year in and year out' doesn't mean you panic-play a rookie out of spite because the season went south. Throwing a 21-year-old into the fire against a tough lefty just to appease an angry guy on a message board is how bad franchises stay bad. If your vision for the future is breaking your best piece before the window even opens, thank god you are nowhere near this front office. Log off, take a breath, and let the professionals handle the future. Also stop with this I can get mad at the team bs and say abusive **** I really suggest logging off before you say something you're gonna regret.

    Imagine getting this pressed over basic roster management. If you spent half as much time learning how physical burnout and player development work as you do obsessing over Day-1 lefty/righty splits, you wouldn't be leaving such embarrassing comments

This isn't a video game with fatigue sliders turned off. He’s trying to learn at the highest level in the world, and you’re struggling to grasp basic human fatigue on a blogging site.I’d love to explain how physical burnout and mechanical regression actually work, but thank god you’re sitting on a message board and nowhere near a front office. Let's worry about your learning curve before we manage his. Sit down.

    Why? He's young maybe he needs an off day. You can't over work these players. On case you forgot everyone within this organization is human. I don't know why you can't get a grasp on that yet.
