I’m not exactly sure why, but I would feel less bad about cheering on Cleveland in the post season.

I don't care about either Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians.   I always hate NY Yankees.   Hope Yankees will not play in World Series next month.  Enough with Yankees!

Sox because of Hawk and AJ Pierzynski. Can't hate Cleveland, but I certainly am jealous of them. Well managed and when you give them an inch they go a mile. The Twins get an inch and go a mile in the wrong direction

As Twins fans, we hate the White Sox. But Cleveland? We wonder how they do it.

Dislike the Sox much more for whatever reason - big city/money bias?  Maybe they tend to get over-hyped?   I didn't enjoy watching Cleveland beat us like a drum but I appreciated the way they play the game - I'd like to see more of that style here.

I am a Twins fan and always want them to play good baseball. I'm also a fan of good baseball in general. As such I don't have any negative thoughts about any other team. Anyone who enjoys baseball likes the current Cleveland team. They pitch, catch the ball, throw to the correct base, hit, run the bases, and just play exciting baseball. Their dismantling of the Twins and White Sox in the last two weeks is impressive, especially considering their number of rookies and young players (six players on their roster with 3 or more years of MLB).

I guess this is just me, but I am less fond of Cleveland. But maybe just jealous too that they are playing way better baseball then the Twins. And yes a complete distain for the NYY!

I don't really hate any team in the AL Central. I have relatives who are NYY and Bos fans, and I don't hold that against them, but those teams are on the short list of teams I don't like, the others being LAD, Atl, and Phi. Two teams I envy are Cle and TB. They have been getting it done mainly by drafting and developing.

Anyone else watch Cleveland totally dismantle Chicago in three games in Chicago? Man, the Guardians are tough. Their youth are playing like seasoned veterans. I'm not sure that Cleveland can sustain this streak but I think they have a shot if they pitch and play as well in the playoffs as they have in the last several weeks.

A good manager can really help a team go a long way in a pennant race or playoffs...and Cleve has a VERY good manager. Can we get one of those please?

Cleveland is like the Bears of the NFL... Dislike a little but mostly don't care. 

White Sox are more like the Packers.

Yankees are like the Cowboys.

That's how I feel about them....

Seems like Im forgetting one team from the NFL and one from MLB but...eh whatever....

They are playing their best baseball at the right time.  Swept the Twins 3 games in Minnesota than turn around and take 4 out of 5 in Cleveland.  Hard to hate that, I'm more jealous than anything.  I 've lived in Ohio for 16+ years now so I will watch them closely in the playoffs.

Tough to hate a team that plays like I wish the twins did (Cleveland). For example the Twins have 32 stolen bases, Cleveland has 5 guys with 17 or more, totally changes the pitchers mind set when guys get on. The Twins have more power and walk a bit more, but Cleveland has struck out over 200 times less than the Twins. Cleveland has two starters that average over 6 1/3 and another at 5 2/3, and have done a better job of filling starts with lesser guys.

I haven't liked Chicago forever, couldn't stand those 80's uniforms.

I don't know why anyone would "hate" the White Sox or Guardians. Evidently everyone but me is too young to remember the 1959 Sox team with Nellie Fox, Louis Apparicio (sp) and Ted Kluzuski among others who dethroned the Yankees who were winning the AL every year.  I always got a kick out of Harrelson as an announcer. He was humorous and gave the Twins and other opponents credit when deserved. Not so much when he played for the Red Sox against the Twins on the field.

At least now the final series against the White Sox will probably be for second place in the Central which should make Ron "I hate second place" Gardenhire very happy. Twins still have a chance to finish 3rd.

I "hate" rival teams the way I hate Darth Vader. I don't bear any ill will toward any individual player, but I need villains in order for the game to mean something. I "hate" the Yankees, but If I met Nestor Cortes in real life I'd be delighted, just like I want to see the Galactic Empire get crushed but would be delighted to meet James Earl Jones.

In that regard, I hate the White Sox as bitter rivals, while the Guardians are more like lovable rascals who happen to be working against me.

Easily the Sox. I don't even dislike Cleveland except for their ownership, which has really let down the fans. They should be spending $50m more than they are right now and could be a real powerhouse in the AL.

Francisco Lindor is on his way to a 7 fWAR season with the Mets. Had the Guardians signed his extension, their payroll would still be under $120m. Fans should be so pissed at ownership for what they're doing.

In comparison, Milwaukee has a payroll over $130m this season. There's no excuse for what Cleveland ownership is doing and has been doing for the past several years.
