If not one of the A's Pitchers then who?

Does anyone else here know of other quality starting pitchers available?

Miami was supposed to be the other treasure trove.  Names I've heard are Sixto Sanchez, Edward Cabrera, Sandy Alcantara, Trevor Rogers, Pablo Lopez, Jesus Luzardo, Zach Thompson, Elieser Hernandez.  All would be expensive in terms of trade value.  There's also Max Meyer but he's probably not considered major league ready and might also be the most expensive to try to acquire. 

Marlins are stacked with pitching and might be willing to trade in return for positional talent ready to compete.  Their only roster "lock" might be RF Jesus Sanchez although they have competent choices elsewhere in the batting order.  Depends on how jazzed the Marlins are about Jazz Chisholm at 2B, as to whether my preferred trading chip of Arraez would work.  They might want Celestino to fill a hole in CF, though I haven't kept up with their offseason.  One of our bat-first left fielders probably would interest them.  Plus they'd require a whole lot more of course, depending on which pitcher we target.

A trade that helps both teams could plausibly result in them facing in a World Series.  Despite losing 95 last year, Miami looks poised to compete seriously.

Dinelson Lamet is buried in the San Diego bullpen. Luis Castillo might be available from Cincinnati.

Johnny Cueto is available for just money. If they obtain a top of the rotation guy he could be useful to eat some innings as the 5th starter.

I think Miami also needs a DH now too and we have those in spades.

I'd like to think the Twins could at least get a listen on Marquez (COL), Kelly (ARI), Gallen (ARI) or Means (BAL).  All will be expensive though.

The Correa signing came out of nowhere. So would a trade for deGrom. He has stated that he will test free agency after the 2022 season, maybe the Mets want to get something for him before he walks.

The Padres may be ready to move Paddock, Snell & Clevinger (1 year in recovering from TJ. surgery)& Lement. But there are injury concerns. Tampa Bay may have interest in trading pitching for prospects.

Tampa is ALWAYS looking to trade but be careful they always seem to fleece teams... they always seem to have good pitching but not sure I would want any of their rotation at this point....

We could all swallow just a little puke and get Trevor Bauer fairly cheap I would guess... may be suspended for a while but is an ace when on the bump... odd and just a bit off but... darn good.

Looking at the depth charts of all the teams in both leagues I am feeling MUCH better! There are a couple of elite staffs but after that .... everyone is pretty much in the same boat... 

Still I think we need to get something done but as is we are as good as 2/3 of the league....

The Reds claim they are not having a fire sale. But I'm guessing he's available for the right price.

I would've dangled Sano for Snell with the Padres, but they found their DH/1B to go with Hosmer elsewhere.

How is he post-sticky-stuff? If I'm doing the math in my head correctly, the sample size is small enough that we have no idea.

I'd root for the twins to lose every game forever if they did that.

Nobody has to worry about Trevor Bauer suiting up for the Twins. He dug a big pit of despair and is left with an uncertain life.
