What are the odds the National broadcast on TBS is blacked out?

Not for me ... (I know, not helpful) 😜

In today's episode of did you know....Luis Gil was briefly associated with your Minnesota Twins in his late teens!

This fact means nothing. Stop it.

Swingin Vazquez in the line-up tonight (and probably tomorrow). It's his turn and those are the rules.

You mean tonight and on Thursday, correct?

A lot to like about the lineup—younger players Kirilloff, Larnach and Miranda all in with Santana on the bench. Miranda gets first base, AK in left and Larnach DH. Castro gets his first start at second. This was an opportunity to play Jeffers at catcher in consecutive games, but no.

Heaven forbid they use the catcher that adds value more than half the games....

I live 50 miles from downtown, I find games are only blacked out on MLB Network. FS1 and TBS I am fine, never blacked out.

I was disappointed not to see Jeffers catching, so I looked at Ober's ERA when pitching to each.  Vaz has caught 7 games with Ober going 39.2 innings with an ERA of 3.18.  Jeffers has caught 4 games with Ober going 17.1 innings with an ERA of 8.83.  If you throw out the KC disaster to start the season (Jeffers) and the recent Cle poor performance (Vaz), Ober's ERA is 5.06 to Jeffers and 2.27 to Vaz.

For what ever reason Ober may feel more comfortable pitching when Vaz is catching.  JMHO

No. I believe the Yankees have a lefty tomorrow and Rocco won't play Lewis 2 days in a row to start. So I expect Vazquez to catch tomorrow too with Jeffers DH'ing, Margot and Farmer in the line-up etc.

What you thought Royce was in, it'd be all Jeffers all the time!

Why wouldnt Rocco play Lewis 2 days in a row? If he's cleared to play, is the plan to ease him back? He might not be at 3rd. But I would expect him to at least dh. Especially with a Lefty going on Wednesday

how about half the time? After tonight, Vazquez will have caught 4 more games than Jeffers, or 14% more often.....

And Jake Cave is long gone, eh.

There's no longer any excuse to DH Jeffers, so I was hoping Vazquez could be limited to one game per series which should have been the case all along.

There are going to be a lot of juicy lineup combinations.. if they somehow have a late lead I expect to see Santana at first.

I support Jeffers having 2 days off in a row. He's played a lot this year at a demanding position and we're still only at the 1/3 mark.
