That play yesterday where CC bailed him out was one of the greatest plays I've ever seen a SS make. Most of us saw it real time, but take a minute to watch a replay of it, and see how far CC ran to get that grounder...and then throw an absolute seed, on the run, to Jeffers to nail the guy at home. Just frickin AWESOME! Let's beat Berrios today and rest up for the next round! Go Twins! That was a tough grounder to field for an average 3B so i don’t fault Polanco for not coming up with it. What nobody has mentioned yet was that Correa had not moved over to backup the play in case he missed it, turning a normal play into a heroic one. Had he been there the runner wouldn’t have attempted to score. Hosken Bombo Disco, FlyingFinn, chpettit19 and 2 others 2 3

Dave Borton Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Yesterday's sellout, 38,450. My estimate was 30,000. Tons of empty seats in upper bleachers as well as RF upper tiers. Not sure who bought them. Did the Twins and then just put them on secondary market? On Monday afternoon, nothing was available in OF on Twins.com. Tons available on secondary market. Not of consequence but just a curiosity for me. Jocko87 and Nine of twelve 2

It's truly baffling to me that a good team, year in and year out has such a hard time attracting fans. I know the start time and crappy stadium. But that area is a baseball hotbed for youth baseball. And Twins fan's had the metrodome. So what is it. And they're getting a new stadium. What will the excuse be then. Or is it because their turnover is so high. Great at player/pitcher development. But losing them or trading players as they approach FA.
