  1. It depends if it were ash or maple.
  2. Charlie Barnes ('21) had been tossing for Oklahoma City. Dodgers gave him a brief visit to the bigs before giving him a bus ticket back to OKC. https://www.mlb.com/press-release/dodgers-recall-paul-gervase-x0201
  3. Old friend Sonny Gray is 9-1 with the lowly RedSox. ERA 2.69. Not bad for a 36 yr old.
  4. Walk / hit rates off the charts. Who knows what story lies beyond the stats though. Underlying injury, home issues, personal issues....
  5. I swear; Paddack has more lives than a cat. He will never get put out to his namesake at this rate. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/06/rangers-sign-chris-paddack.html
  6. I couldn't name one Rockie on their roster if my life depended on it.
  7. How lucky. I listen to Dodgers radio and glommed onto tix. Then Ryan gets ill, falls out of rotation and into my lap. Topping it off? Voth DFA'd so I am sparred that as well!
  8. Rushing out for concussion protocol, 1st inn, per Dodgers radio.
  9. 83 and he has done every color broadcast. I listen to them nightly. Very analytical, very informative. Hasn't slipped a bit. I really enjoy him.
  10. Just saw it. Let's hope the front office remembers the burnt fingers.
  11. Ohtani scheduled to pitch Wed. I grabbed a couple of seats up to in the crow's nest. Gotta see the ''Sho.
  12. Maybe Atteberry can take a much longer break, like till end of season? I admit to turning into opponents radio dial via MLB radio whenever I have a Twins game on. Chris just drowns two of God's gifts to all performances. Silence and timing. He was phenomenal on between innings work and I marveled at what he could share in the moment's break, substantial updates and game scores. But PBP requires a different skill set.
  13. Did the scratch (and search) test to see if my ears (strictly radio listener) were accurate. Yep, 25th in fielding percentage within MLB: https://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/majors/2026-standard-fielding.shtml
  14. Did I miss anything over here? Oh, Tigers 5 runs and Jackson takes command of the rubber.
  15. Sorry guys, going to the Mets/Cards game. Spanish broadcast. Working on dusting off brain cells which Twins have put to sleep. Marysol Castro.... "¡Beisbollllllllllllllll"
  16. Detroit radio booth, "Boy, 2nd base is a tough position for the Twins."
  17. We have been there twice. It was a throwback for me. Baseball before big business dictated the game. Refreshing. Americana. Everyone pleasant. Small town atmosphere. Folks greet and chat. Kids on the field enthusiastic. Raw talent, not fully polished and harnessed. Reasonable prices on food. Go there.
  18. Article uses "command" several times. I suggest he has a control issue first. Once he gets that down, we can discuss "command."
  19. #8, Thou shalt not steal (grins). Mild form of surfing. Section 319/320. No probability of getting snipped at; no ushers. Sections I sit in with Vets tickets. Commanding view of home plate/batter. Love the seat. Aggressive form. Surf to Pohlad's Suite. Very low probability of being occupied, judging by the product on the field.
