Varsho had a down season and may have just laid that down to try to make something happen.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Where has all the offense gone?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 4, 2023 Author Posted October 4, 2023 The Twins are not showing the good approach at the plate they were showing yesterday. Lots of swings at balls way outside the zone, plenty of **** contact.
Cris E Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Maybe they were hoping that Polanco couldn't field it but Varsho couldn't get it near him? Who knows.

Beast Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Berrios is absolutely painting right now. We might get shut out today. Where was this when he played here.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 4, 2023 Author Posted October 4, 2023 Correa with an infield single, just as we all predicted.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Twins not laying off the bad pitches today....can't watch....they seem anxious?
weitz41 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Having the Yankee's voice announcing the game last night and tonight feels like Russian runlet. With 5 bullets in the 6-shot cylinder...Lets have Alex Rodregues as part of game one..CC tonight?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted October 4, 2023 Author Posted October 4, 2023 Nice PA from Wallner there. More of that, please.

Tight, tight spin on Berrios breaking balls. They just flat out aren't picking it up out of his hand. He looks good. Mike Sixel 1

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 That was a dribbler on the part of Correa that probably had a chance of being a hit at any point, but it seemed like he got down the line a little quicker than he was able to do in the regular season. Similar on yesterday’s hustle defensive play. Let’s hope that’s a sign the rest was helpful. Jocko87 1
Cris E Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 At least Wallner squared one up there. That's something.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 If this series were football, Toronto would be dominating the time of possession JDBrocks 1

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Is someone up in the bullpen, because their best pitcher can't throw a strike or miss a bat.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Toronto's getting frustrated. They're going to be swinging from their heels in the later innings. Hopefully we can limit pitch to contact.

He also hasn't given up a run. There's no need to get a guy up when no one is even on base yet. Gray gets at least that much slack. I don't pull him out of the game unless he has given up runs, went over 100 pitches, or he has gone five innings. Mike Sixel, JDBrocks, Jocko87 and 2 others 5

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Not been too many easy innings at all
