I would. Even if it isn’t a trade, and even if what you have in AAA is shaky, you still need to do SOMETHING. This team needs to be shaken up.

I tend to respect the current Twins front office's body of work overall, and to give their ideas of how to construct a team the benefit of the doubt, but if this series isn't an impetus to seek help for the bullpen ASAP, I don't know what will be.

It would be great to add a high-end reliever to shift everyone (or maybe everyone except Durán) down a notch in the pecking order, but if they can find someone sooner and more easily to be the new 4th-best arm in the pen, do that too. Anything that will shake up the mix has to have some benefit at this point.

The front office will have to take some tangible punishment now.  They fixed the issue with starters but have nearly negated it in the bullpen.

I've had enough of relief pitchers that give free passes and then throw cookies in the last couple innings of games. Thornburg, Cotton and Pagan can all take a hike, in my opinion. I would like to see the Twins replace almost half their relief staff. Get some guys with very low walk rates. That by itself would be an improvement. No more loading the freekin' bases without a hit. Geez!

The problem is, the plan they are operating under with Wes is probably an “organizational plan.” Wes leaving might have little impact.

Exactly.  Last night I said there was no way I was tuning in today.  I watched/listened to the whole game.  You know I'll be back tomorrow.

The 1-0 win we had last week Cleveland should have won, and really....Cleveland shouldn't have had to wait until the 9th to win it today.  Our pitchers gave them every opportunity all game long and they blew it over and over and over again.

The Twins should have a 10 game lead on Cleveland. Instead, they have Pagan, Thornburg, and a litany of other guys that couldn't close out a game against Town Ball players
