Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Can't believe I wanted the Twins to play the Yankees in the playoffs...Anyone who honestly wanted that should go get a mental evaluation
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Twins pitchers are so polite. Must be a Minnesota thing. They never pitch inside, but they'll give you a nice, juicy pitch right down the middle. The Yankees love Twins pitching.
bighat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Anndddd he hit the guy with an 0-2 count. Unreal. Twins let another run in and this game's over, IMO. Keep it to 3-0 and there's a chance. Pretty embarrassed for this team right now.
bighat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Third straight 0-2 count on these guys. Let's get a double-play or a K for crying out loud.
Danchat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I expected the Twins to lose this series. I didn’t expect them to look this bad!
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 That depends on what your level of success is. Its different for everyone. Some will look at the 101 wins be satisfied. Others will look at post season failures and not be satisfied. If the goal is to win the WS...then you need to win some post season games. For me, thats pretty important. It doesn't minimize what they did regular season...but theres more work to be done.I'm not satisfied with the post season failures, but I'm not going to jump off a cliff because they didn't win the World Series.

Krabby5 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Yankees are feasting on Twin’s patchwork pitching staff
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I'm not satisfied with the post season failures, but I'm not going to jump off a cliff because they didn't win the World Series.I’m thinking about it, to be honest
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Not that it would matter, but beating the Yankees and the umps is a joke. Good night and good luck.
tbhysgb Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 This is the most gut wrenching thing to see for longtime twins fans. I have no words
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 You knew ol DiDi pickles was gonna kill us, right
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 The Astros are a better team. Period.Yes, this is much better
mike2202 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Take rosario and company home now.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I kinda wish I was still at the football game.
Krabby5 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Are you referring to the Yankees..... who had a truly incredible rash of injuries? Or the Twins, who had relative few.Yankees aren’t hurt at all now. Twins have a shell of their mid season lineup..including pitching
AceWrigley Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I can't watch any more of this.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Well it been fun, maybe we get them at home. Really can’t expect anything good to happen when you got to you pen in the third inning
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I guess the Soler home run was Duffy turning back into a pumpkin...
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I was going to type and post: “Hey Duffey, quit grooving fastballs down the middle” But I didn’t want to be a negative nelly
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 At least I can ignore the game the rest of the home show....
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Look what happens to polite pitchers. But I'm sure Yankees fans will be glad to buy Twins players drinks all night long...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Why is he still in there lol wtf
