Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 How much longer are we sticking with Dobnak?
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 The fuse has been lit....only a matter of time before the bomb goes off. I think the moment is too big for Randy honestly. He is not sharp. And neither are our hitters. Dobnak won't survive the 3rd inning and Twins won't survive this game. This isn't being negative...if you are watching you can see the Yanks are playing with swagger, confidence and they are getting the calls. Its not a fair fight.

twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Same issue as Berrios, just not locating pitches. Tanaka is hitting his spots and Dobnak simply isn't. Yankees more than willing to take strikes until he can consistently. I think Dobby is a little overwhelmed.
S. Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Wow, that was a solidly hit ball that no one scored on.
mike2202 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Twins scared and no spirit. Sad!
bighat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Bases loaded and nobody out. Good grief this could be the death knell.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 We have to get 21 outs (hopefully) with this staff. WOW GOOD LUCK BRO
wabene Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 The Duffmaster has to play the heel again. I'm rooting for him!
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 How do you like that "story" now?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Bases loaded, no outs. We got them right where we want them. Wait a minute... We're the team that has trouble with that situation.
strumdatjaguar Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 No Cinderella story this afternoon. Duffey trying for a “Houdini”.
S. Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Biggest moment of the season for Duffy right here. I'll take a strikeout and a double play. In that order, preferably, but I can live with it either way.
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Get out of this without giving up a run, and we win this game.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I’ve tried not to be Negative Nancy, but I just couldn’t see Dobnak coming through against the Yanks. He just doesn’t have the stuff to strike out MLB hitters... and now we need 6+ innings from the pen. *sighs*
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Duffey in for the Houdini And the last words before Houdini died? "I'm tired of fighting"
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Encarnacion is locked in... There doesn't look like a hope in hell they get him out, lol.
