Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 What the F kind of jump was that
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Same thing, just a different day. Sigh... I sure do dislike the Yankees.
mike2202 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Rosario bouncing into that double play - bad!
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Twins put two on and their RBI leader hits into a DP. Yanks put two on and.........of course they score. Why do all the Yankee hitters look like Babe Ruth up there?? They all look dangerous. this game is going to stink real fast if Randy can't get out of this inning real soon.
howeda7 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 No matter what happens today, this situation is on Falvine, not Dobnak.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Who the heck is gonna pitch if we don’t get more than a few innings from dobnak
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Looks afraid to go at guys. He's going to the same well too many times. They really don't seem to have a plan on how to pitch to each guy at this point.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Every friggin batter, INSANE
Don Walcott Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Imagine this lineup if Judge, EE and Stanton had healthy, full seasons.
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Clutch DP. Hope we look back at this as the turning point.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Thank goodness. Ok kid, you survived, now start pitching.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Wow the defense didn't mess up the double play. I'm impressed
bighat Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Anyone else get that feeling watching Yankees batters at the plate - that there's like a 90% chance they're going to get a base hit and just a 10% chance they'll make an out? The crowd going nuts, these sluggers just knocking balls all over the place, Twins pitchers walking guys left and right....they just look so extremely overmatched.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Hopefully they invest in pitching for next season, the Gibson fantasy should be over, Berrios May be good someday but he’s not there yet . The Twins really don’t have a reliable starter
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 DP helps. Down by 1 because Twins only think HR instead of trying to get runs in the conventional way.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Thank god stanton is the slowest man alive
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 15 pitches 1 out. That works out to 405. Not Fun With Numbers!
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Indeed John Smoltz, that’ll do
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Same thing, just a different day. Sigh... I sure do dislike the Yankees. Not quite. I think we jumped out first and they answered. Maybe this is a reversal of roles...
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 At the very least, this series should intensify the need to improve the pitching staff in the offseason.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Who the heck is gonna pitch if we don’t get more than a few innings from dobnakRogers and Romo. Remember?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Did mike tauchman make the playoff roster? That guy slayed us
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Ok, it was only 1 run. Hopefully he can settle down and keep the Yankees in check the next 4 innings. Now the bats need to come alive....BIG TIME.
Blake Verified Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 After the double by LeMahieu, 1 run was about as good a result as I could expect.
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 NO EXCUSES, WE NEED GOOD AT BATS, GONNA NEED AT LEAST 7 TO WIN,
