Royce Lewis and Joe Ryan  are now and will be the face of the Twins for the next 2-3 years ,  and i like it !!!  Go Twins

Lopez, Ober, and Ryan could all easily be gone at the close of the year as well as Jeffers. Expect non tender for Larnach. The Twins will listen on Lewis. Buck may request a trade.

Everything is on the table.

AS I said above, I have no idea what the bullpen looks like. Roster Resource just has a bunch of random names in it as far as I can tell :)

Here's the 'bench' for the Saints tonight @ Mud Hens. My guess is this is our call up pool

I think Martin is a lock and Sabato is more likely than McCusker, but I could be wrong.

Both are in the Saints lineup tonight. Keaschall and McCusker are not.

Didn’t you just try and tell me we’ve lost nothing and have a solid core left?

I had included Jax and Varland as a bullpen core with sands.

I mean what are we even doing? Do Twins even plan on fielding a major league roster. This is a complete FU to Twins fans by Pohlad ownership. I know the damaged but this goes beyond any of that. How are the coaching staff and remaining players supposed to feel about playing remaining games?

I can't see how Martin isn't on this roster with Castro and Bader gone. Well, I guess both Outman and Roden could be there, but who is your backup infielders then?

Eeles is in LF tonight. I thought he was primarily IF.

Varland doesn’t make any sense. He’s under team control and he makes the league minimum.

Durán, Stewart and Jax were under control for 2 1/2 years longer for Stewart and inexpensive contract. What’s the difference?

What have we truly lost so far?

We still have Lopez, Ryan, Ober.   We have Jax, Sands,  Varland.  You have Buxton, Lewis, Jeffers,  Lee.   You have some pieces to build around.

The fact that we were able to trade so many on our 26-man, players other teams WANTED, tells me this team has underperformed. I don’t think it was a development problem as much as an on-field mgmt problem

How would you like to work in Twins ticket sales, or be apart of Twins broadcast team and Twins Alimni. This wasnt just a big FU to the fans, the Twins ownshership Joe Pohlad did a big FU to all of them also. What happened today was an embarrassment to the game of major league baseball and the integrity of the game.

Here’s my two cents and I have been consistent for the past two years on this assessment… Falvey and Baldelli are not at MLB talent level in their respective positions. Falvey at least put together a competent pitching staff this year.  I would take this staff over almost any team in the AL.

They needed a co-GM to focus on the offense and defense. Both areas have been putrid for over two seasons. This side of the team could have been re-tooled this offseason, in reality with a couple of these moves today if Falvey focused on OF’s, 1st and 2nd.

What we witnessed yesterday and today didn’t need to happen. There was no strategy other than dumping salaries. No one was added in these 10 or so trades that bring any value to what was the problem with the team… contact, speed and defense and none will help next year. This was a disgrace.

You have to wonder if the owners goal is moving the team for a better chance at a sale.

Can Twins ownership easily break lease and move the team? I mean you know Pohlads if any live here are gonna pack up and move. What are chances that MLB would just let them pack up and move the franchise to another market?  I doubt breaking the lease is even that expensive.

I mean, I doubt any of them work on commission, so their jobs all probably got easier.

Fans who purchased season tickets did so with the assumption that the Twins would field a full Major League roster for the whole season.  That's not what they're going to get for the next 2 solid months.  In a way it's fraud.

Zero chance. They still haven't finalized a Las Vegas deal, meanwhile Tampa and the White Sox are trying to get a new stadium. After that, you still have a dozen teams ahead of the Twins in pecking order to get new stadiums. The rest of the owners will not let the Pohlads take away one of their threat cities since relocating is the ultimate weapon for these guys.

Eh, nothing would've been preferable to something if the Jax, Duran, or Varland moves are garbage.

I don't want to argue value or any of that.  I get where you're at on it, so this is not an effort to disagree with where you stand.

But for me?  This was (credit to @Aggies7) sorta cathartic.  Wheel spinning complacency was just not what I wanted anymore.  I'm ready for a new era.

I hope the next domino on that agenda is ownership.

This is the most accurate overall assessment of what happened in the last week.

I saw the blurb reported from a guy who was indirectly quoting some Pohlad playing golf and stating how sick they (Pohlad family) were of the Twins and baseball fans. True or not, the disconnect is total. If MLB had an effective leader, that person would have stepped in by now. Bowie Kuhn did.
