    Unfortunately, there has to be a scapegoat, but I’m not sold on how much impact these position coaches actually have. Just a new voice I guess. For example, Derek Shomon is the hitting coach for the White Sox and those young hitters look pretty good. Got fired with Popkins.

    Nevermind. Should have checked socials first Theo Tollefson: The Twins have announced two coaches will not return to their 2027 staff. Pitching coaches Pete Maki and Luis Ramirez have both been let go. Maki has been with the organization since 2018 and Ramirez, 2006. Additionally athletic trainer Jason Kirkman will not return as well.

    Both were good developments in the bullpens. Agree with the article - re-sign Minter and another good righty for the 2027 BP.

    This season was more interesting than I thought it would be. The org needs to figure out the 2nd half performance. What is causing this dip three years running? Not a totally wasted season as we got to see some of the future core. Go Twins!

    Agree on the start of the season take. Some of it may depend on when the season actually starts. When will Pablo and Abel be ready to contribute? Does Ryan have enough value to move now or wait until the trade deadline? We might need them both.

    Improved defense has been a talking point of emphasis the past few off-seasons. Easy to say hard to do. I agree with most of the posts that with the youth and some positional changes we seem to be headed in the right direction.

    Whoever wins the AL west is going to have a below .500 record. Good game for the fans that made it to the last homestand of 2026.

    The free agents on the position player side don’t do anything for me. If I’m Tom P, I’m looking to extend some of these young guys and spend some money that way. Then I’ll turn my sites to relief and starting pitching. This club needs to focus on run prevention.

    This club should leave no stone unturned when it comes to run prevention. They need all the pitching and defense they can get.
