    Butt (Joe) insurance? The Twins signed pitcher Germán Márquez to a minor league contract. He will report to Class AAA St. Paul. He pitched in 13 games for the Padres this year.

    Theo Tollefson: The Twins have activated Byron Buxton for the Field of Dreams game. Both the Twins and Phillies are allowed 27 players for tonight's game, so there is no corresponding move.

    I won the MLB lottery to buy tickets but the lowest price was $385 so I’m not going. Currently pretty rainy down here in Iowa so hopefully it blows over. Looks like only 40% chance around game time.

    I haven’t seen anything announced officially. He’s at 101 IP between MLB and MiLB. Until Ryan comes back they absolutely need Prielipp and Zebby to continue starting.

    All these guys also had to ramp down and are ramping up now at Ft Myers. They had 2 or more months off between the end of the college season and the draft.

    Wasting a roster spot on Jackson because they are worried about the 2027 backup catcher situation is roster mismanagement.

    I live in Iowa so I was able to get in the lottery for the chance to buy tickets. I won the lottery but the cheapest ticket price was $380. Needless to say I’m not going, $380 to watch a game in a corn field didn’t seem worth it to me.
