  1. Maybe they can switch back? Also, the Saints had planned a Royce Lewis T-shirt day today. Tom P if you are reading Twins Daily, I’ll take a shirt or a jersey.
  2. The wait is over. Lewis back up and Outman DFA. If he can be a 110-115 OPS+ hitter and help shore up the IF defense I’m all for it. LFG!
  3. I thought his last outing was a nice rebound. Four earned runs but on the D; 2 stolen bases and a throwing error, an infield single that should have been an out. He pitched well after that, and gave the team a chance to win, which they did.
  4. First time through the order he has an 8.68 ERA, compared to 1.46 for the second time.
  5. Teams are circling their series with the Twins on the calendars as get right series. Not the other way around.
  6. Just listening to the Skor North Twins show and it was mentioned that Keaschall was taking reps at 1B on Tues/Weds. Option 1 is taking form…
  7. Agreed, you have to be solid up the middle to start. C 2B SS CF
  8. I applaud and appreciate his loyalty to the Twins. With his no trade clause and service time, this will be a Buck decision. The front office and ownership sure aren’t doing anything to create optimism in this club.
  9. Twins are 30th in defensive runs saved with a -25 on the season. I voted for number two, but it really needs to be about what makes the infield defense better. Keaschall at 2nd prob doesn’t help the D but like @Twins_Fan_in_NJ already stated, now is probably not the time for him to start learning a new position.
  10. I agree with a lot of the comments already posted on here. Lewis has looked better in the box, more athletic, and less dancing around. Let him keep working on that while he learns a new defensive position. Where can he best help that atrocious infield defense?
  11. SWR for Lawrence for cash. I’d say the Pirates win this trade. Good to see that the bats woke up out of their Wednesday slumber. I can see better defense at my local Northwoods league games.
  12. Yesterday’s loss was really terrible and it’s hard to get that taste out of my mouth. But my mom told me if I didn’t have anything good to say I shouldn’t say anything at all. So, go Twins!
  13. Buzzkill. They sure know how to kill the good vibes. Last week they start by winning 4 out of 5 and then lose 5 straight. This week they take two and then **** the bed today. Painful!
  14. They really have a knack for undoing all of the good vibes.
  15. 3 errors and 6 walks, batters getting 2 hit by Fedde. Turrible!
  16. Bobby Nightengale: Royce Lewis is starting at second base for the St. Paul Saints today. Skor North reported he’s been doing pregame work at both first and second base. Luke Keaschall has been doing a lot of pregame work at first base over the last two days, too.
  17. Good to see Royce looking more comfortable and athletic and not dancing around in the box. He’s a self proclaimed vibes guy so let him keep soaking in that confidence!
  18. Great to see Prielipp bounce back after his last two outings. When Acuña scored that run without a ball being put in play, I thought we were in deep ****. The rest of the game was pretty well played.
  19. 5 good starts and 2 bad for Prielipp. Obviously need good Prielipp to show up against Martin.
