    His last seven games have been better. .269/.367/.500 hopefully he is warming back up. He has certainly been good for the Twins, but I hope the roster construction for 2027 pushes him back to more of a utility role than an everyday guy.

    I hope that Larnach can find his mojo at the plate. He’s been part of the offensive problem since the trade deadline. He’s due a raise in 2027 and it will probably be in the $7 to $8m range. Unless he shows us something different I think that money can be better spent. Last 15 games - .160.236.280

    This is a great example of why you shouldn’t learn a new position during a season. One has to hope that an off-season of work will get him ready for life in the outfield. Keaschall in left, Buck in center, Jenkins in right, and Emma as the 4th OF would be better defensively than this year's unit.

    Zoll said on Inside Twins earlier today that they are stretching out Anderson, Rojas, and Marquez at AAA. Ryan has been throwing on flat ground and may do a bullpen this upcoming week.

    4-10 in August, sure seems like they are headed in the wrong direction. They were 58-67 this time last year. ATL and SD next so it doesn’t get any easier. Gleeman: Derek Shelton said Austin Martin has a left hamstring strain and will go for imaging to determine the severity.

    Twins have to play at a 90 win pace to finish the season with a winning record. Nothing they have shown me up to this point leads me to believe they are capable of this. I’d still take this season over the last two.
