We’ve used 10 starters this season and thinking that Gallagher/Quick are next up is a little scary. We use 8-10 guys every year.

Not enough talent in the 2027 free agent pool to go too nuts. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/free-agents/available/_/year/2027

Bobby N: Twins probable starters to close out the season, per Derek Shelton: Wednesday at SF – Connor Prielipp. Friday vs. TEX – Joe Ryan. Saturday – Bailey Ober. Sunday – Dean Kremer. Shelton didn’t rule out Zebby Matthews pitching out of the bullpen. Zebby said he was hoping to pitch once more.

Jeffers is going to make some $$ this offseason but he has looked like crap for the last month or so.

Gleeman: Giants 5, Twins 2. Twins are now 16-30 vs. National League teams, which is tied for the second-worst interleague record in MLB.

Tidwell over 5 era in his last 7 starts so it makes sense that TC batters are struggling with him.

Bobby N: Aaron Sabato was on a diverted flight and none of his baseball gear made it to San Francisco pregame today. He borrowed Ryan Kreidler’s bat, Royce Lewis’ cleats, Kody Clemens’ first baseman mitt, Ben Ross’ batting gloves. Sorry but no. I liked the Bell signing at the time and still do. They’ll need that DH spot to cycle Buck and the OF through. Keaschall, Emma, Jenkins, and maybe Roden.

Nope, I guess they don’t need a third catcher for the last six games of the season. Bobby N: Twins make Aaron Sabato’s promotion official. Alex Jackson was designated for assignment.

Six games left, are they sure they don’t need a third catcher? Bobby N: Twins make Aaron Sabato’s promotion official. Alex Jackson was designated for assignment.

Just read this from Bobby N: Aaron Sabato, the Twins’ first-round pick from the 2020 MLB draft, is headed to the big leagues, sources told the Minnesota Star Tribune. Sabato, 27, was promoted for the final week of the regular season. https://www.startribune.com/minnesota-twins-prospect-aaron-sabato-mlb-draft-roster-san-francisco-giants-game-today-time-tv/601892083

Gómez has been a great pick-up. Like most of this bullpen it’s the walks that kill me (and any lead we may have).
