nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Buxton is most definitely allowed to do that.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Looks like MLB got tired of small ball
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 CHOOOO CHOOOO! Get on the train, Twins!

2wins87 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 One could say that today, the Twins hitters were the molesters of Nestor.

He didn't call for the change up all game, bad mistake. Archer threw 6 changeups (9%) against a lineup that featured 7 right handed hitters. Throughout the year, he's thrown it 11% of the time, and only twice to righties in 79 pitches. The game calling was completely in line with what we've seen for Archer this entire year.

Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 110.3 MPH off the bat. Buxton just haaaaad to take the sails away from Jeffers.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 If I was GM, I’d try to buy low on Cortes. I’d offer the Yankees Jeffers for him straight up, but the offer expires at the end of the inning.

mnfireman Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Twins chased Gausman on Sunday, Taillon last night, and Cortes tonight. The offense does not appear to be the problem.....
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Author Posted June 9, 2022 Perfect, it's all going according to plan... ahem. Don't mind me. In all seriousness, it's been great to see our hitters take on the likes of Kikuchi, Gausman, Taillon, and Cortes and put up some runs. Maybe the Tigers series was a blip on the radar and not a trend.

mnfireman Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Nooo, and the umpires decide to show up.... that pitch was well off the plate.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Add this on to what the lineup did to Gausman, and they've been locked in with three consecutive great showings. Now they need to do what they didn't do last night and add on to the Yankees "B" bullpen arms.
