Hopefully, this will just be a tweak that will work itself out quickly.  I love (OK I don't) when you see twitter comments or Strib comments when someone is injured assuming that they themselves would be able to play through it no matter what the pain as they sit on their couch.

I also love (OK I don't) all the tweets and strib comments saying "HA! TOLD YOU SO! MADE OF GLASS!"

Why would some no-talent fatso sitting on his couch in White Bear Lake gleefully cackle and rub their hands together when hearing about Buxton's injury? Does it make them feel superior to the front office or something? Or there a psychology behind it - for example, they are so distraught and disappointed, that they are overcompensating by showcasing bravado?

Buxton should sing this song to himself in the mirror every morning.  Maybe it will help him be, well, less fragile...

I can understand why Barreiro and Common Man are popular, although Common would be better with only a two-hour show, but never understood how the morning schedule dominated any sports competition so much.

The only daily local shows on KFAN that really talk sports consistently in an educated manner is Paul Allen's show. Heck, Common freely admits he rarely watches or attends sporting events.

Until something definitive comes back, I'm just going to assume anyone I see weeping quietly is a Twins fan, desperately wondering why we're not allowed to have nice things.

And Paul Allen is unlistenable, while Common and especially Berriero are very entertaining.

I may look like a doctor, and I may play a doctor in TV, but I am not really a doctor!

That said, for a promotional fee I will gladly push any product, procedure, or philosophy you desire!  ?‍⚕️?‍⚕️???

I’m fairly certain the Twins have the MRI results. For those of

us that have had that procedure, they always say they’ll have the results in a couple of days. But with all sports teams, I’m fairly certain they have someone available to read the MRI almost immediately.  I’m thinking the Twins have the bad news, and are waiting to release the news when they have their ducks in a row relating to how they are going to proceed.

Just saw the Rosenthal update too. Supposedly no structural damage and some time off. If that's correct...WHEW!

Per Rosenthal- No structural damage. Probably will require a week off or so

So now Doogie, Hayes, and Rosenthal have all heard positive news.  I am feeling good.

“A week or so off”? Will be interesting to see if they put him on the 10-day IL. Would miss 9 games before he is eligible to return Tuesday April 26. Could do minor league rehab games before then — Saints will be in Toledo next weekend while the Twins g̶o̶ ̶t̶o̶ host Chicago.

Fyi ... Chicago comes to the Twins ... the Twins aren't in Chicago until the first week of July, much to my chagrin

The image of all of the Chicago citizens arriving is rather horrifying.sq3.jpg

You must be out for a walk in Loring Park today

I understand Chicago squirrels are the most dangerous, especially when driving mini-Coopers.

It sounds like it is nothing, but they probably can’t run him back out there today to save face.  This is great news.

With 28 man rosters, I sure hope they don’t IL him.

Yep...the Baldelli-Lama is saying no IL for now. Maybe this will be just a few games off kind of thing. Hopefully, we dodged a bullet this time.

Paul Allen has become a caricature of a caricature of himself. The banter with Gleeman used to be good but now I'm not sure Aaron even knows what the hell PA is talking about half the time.

I wouldn't know...he's unlistenable...
