Amazingly, our plan coming in was to buy tickets for Tuesday and then plan to watch the game at a sports bar downtown on Wednesday.  Yesterday before the game we came to our senses and bought tickets

The Twins signed Matt Shoemaker two days prior. We were all pretty stoked from what I recall.

Berrios still has a chance to help pitch us to the next playoff round.  I believe he can do it.  Just give him a chance.  he can get it done over the next few innings.

Let's talk about Robo-Ump. Never misses a ball or strike call. The ultimate fair arbiter for pitchers and hitters. 

This particular plate ump has blown two calls off the inside corner to lefty hitters. I'd say it was shameful, but what it really is, is pathetic. It is rare to see a human umpire get all the ball and strike calls right, and this one is no exception.

Bring on Robo-Ump.

If I remember correctly from Berrios time with the Twins - he had a tendency to start strong and then lose it in the 5th or 6th inning  - Toronto may have a quick hook with him.

All but like 3 pitchers rarely go 7

Elimination game Im sure theres a quick hook in him.  TC needs to make them use it.

He pitched the elimination game in 2020, gave up one run in 5 innings and only two hits (two walks) and still got pulled after 75 pitches.

And the Astros made the Twins pay.
