Also, Correa can go to hell. What a slug. Hurt constantly here. My opinion, he was likely faking most of it. I'll put money on it he gets back to Houston and is in the lineup daily and back to his old self.

Oh please. Correa is super competitive and would not fake being hurt. If he goes back to his old self that's a major indictment of the Twins coaching staff, scouting, and FO, which FYI, are horrible according to the MLB players I know

Wow on corea going to Houston!!! Thought he would’ve been twin for life!!! Major shocker!!! Did Willie get traded? Actually whole tear down might not be as bad as it looks. Needed to be done! We got plenty of hot prospects coming up, can’t do any worse then now. Let’s see what happens. 2028/29 will be when twins have realistic chances of winning with new ownership

He's been hurt with little to nothing wrong with him while here. Minor injuries and out for long periods of time. He's also been a poor offensive player overall. Now he wants back to Houston. Not a fan of his anymore. In it for himself 100%.

First we had a relief pitcher named Blewitt, now an outfielder named Outman. What next?

Pitcher named Homer a few years back has gotta be up there with these.

Good riddance to Correa. We'll see what return looks like and whether moving that salary is just more "right sizing."

I'm sure the Twins ate as little money as possible to still make the deal work, and I'm sure Houston was happy to max out their payroll to keep talent in house...

There are still 2 hours left people.

My guess is there are 2-3 more guys going. Anyone that makes any kind of money or is going to shortly will be out.

Yeah I'm guessing Castro for sure and maybe France, Jax, and Ryan

Honestly,  best thing that could happen for the organization.   Now can put Lee at Short,   Keashall at 2nd Lewis at 3rd.   Try Julien or McCusker at 1st.   Outfield,  who knows,  maybe Outman, Larnach and Buxton.

Lot of flaws with that lineup,  unless you’re talking about getting through the season.

Will like to see how the Pohlads and Twins broadcast team sells this manure truck of a fire sale. This is a fire sale at rock bottom prices.

They are resetting,  if you want to win a WS this is the best way for team like Minnesota to do it.

Are they? They just traded for a 28 yo OF who can't hit.

They still have Ryan and Jax. Heck, and Varland at this point might be gone before they are good again.

Honestly -  if we look at it legitimately,  other than Correa,  as of right now we are really only out Duran that is a significant piece for the next 2 years.   Brock Stewart is decent but not a key cog or reliable.   You put Brooks Lee back at short where he appears to feel more comfortable - our minor League is fairly well stocked,  will increase our draft capital and we may be able to find some usuable pieces for the future in the next couple months.  I wouldn't mind if Julien, Miranda, or Martin were able to reinvent themselves at the MLB level.  The bullpen will be a bit of an issue.

My biggest concern, which has been the same for awhile now, is if we haven't figured out why we can't seem to develop an above average ML hitter, is it wise to trade for young hitters who may get botched by our player development program? If we don't fix that or aren't willing to bring in quality FA bats, we'll never be a true championship contender. Like is it bad luck or is there some flaw in our hitter development process? What are the odds that all these highly-regarded hitting prospects have bombed in the last 10-ish years?

All the professional athletes are playing to win the final game of the season. Most players—even the most loyal—would not pass up an opportunity to play for a team in the playoffs. There are many really good baseball players who have never played in the World Series. I don’t begrudge anyone for wanting that vs staying for a rebuild.
