  1. The Twins are who we thought they were!
  2. I bet this is largely what we're all perceiving.
  3. He sounds like he's calling an A game, not an MLB game. I can't place why, but it's something in the style and phrasing.
  4. You can rest easy knowing you are improving the camera shot for the owners by sitting in the lower bowl.
  5. Andrelton Simmons featured in today's print New York Times with an Athletic article https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7322869/2026/06/01/andrelton-simmons-angels-braves-mexico-defense/
  6. Interesting. I guess this feels like one of those things that so far we've been left to draw our own conclusions on.
  7. Falvey owns the deadline, not Zoll. I only thought of him as a behind the scenes guy at the deadline, but maybe I missed something.
  8. We'll see how the move turns out, but I say at least a little bit of credit goes to Zoll for apparently being more decisive than the prior regime.
  9. I didn't realize they were sorted in any way; so that makes sense.
  10. If you keep doing these, I'd rather see them sorted by good to bad or bad to good.
  11. Maybe they'll accidentally leave Varland behind? lol
  12. It's satisfying for us that pay attention to collectively be proven right while he was proven wrong.
  13. I'm so glad Tommy P has now had the entire month of April to "see what we've got in the guys we have". No one could have predicted that this bullpen would be a mess.
  14. It's an objective way to measure the decline in fan interest. But with ticket giveaways, etc., it's a moving target.
  15. I wonder what the attendance count would be if they hadn't given away tickets for these games. That wasn't an accident as a way to bump these numbers.
  16. There was a good discussion on Reddit about this. Apparently the players (when they were testing this) favored a challenge system over just letting the computer correct wrong calls immediately, which is what I'd think we as fans would like to see. That said, I agree this could be done in 5 seconds without the graphic and advertisement. The theory I read in that discussion is that MLB wants the sponsorship on that graphic.
  17. Some would say they work out too much. Lewis has been accused of working out for bulk vs. for health & fitness, too.
  18. This is an interesting consideration I wish I would have thought of.
  19. That's a lot of ifs.
  20. Seems pretty obvious to me that considering Casper was their third option in 2025 they needed a new third option. When one catcher goes down, which is inevitable, you need two viable options. If they move Jeffers, they need two guys. When they lose Jeffers at the end of 2026 no matter what, they have two guys.
  21. At the deadline any remaining assets will be on the table. They're clearly looking to either hope for good luck or tread water until the deadline when they can remove the few remaining assets after 2025 and finally admit they are rebuilding.
  22. Falvey trying to salvage a shred of his reputation going into Twins Fest?
  23. What a waste of a suspension considering how well they worked for him.
