    Agree with most of the ratings and what's being said above. Hoping both Abel and Lopez can come back stronger from injury layoffs ! Excited and cautiously optimistic about Prielipp also. I hope we get some solid bullpen arms (either internally or externally) for the next year! Of course, with the Twins, there is then a chance that the starting rotation will completely fall on its face. Also, just saw that Mahle is pitching in the second playoff game for ATL, and I am not entirely sure how I should feel about that..lol

    Yes. Consistent plan for the future that starts at the draft level. While the MLB draft is very different than some of the other sports in terms of immediate contributions and projections, that doesn't mean that you can't plan for the future on how the pieces would fit together. Let's hope that this year's positive flashes from the rookies sustain in the long term and don't just remain a flash in the pan. I also feel we missed out on the trade deadline by holding onto players who don't necessarily fit in the future plan.

    Year in and year out..Cle still fought and even earned a first round bye. MIL and TB were the best teams. Payroll is one part of the story but surely we are lacking something else be competitive on a consistent basis

    Also, seems like we need to gamble on some trades.... Define the next core wisely and trade away other pieces if they don't fit. No point in holding onto them in the hope that 'this is the year' they will take the league by storm.

    Same old story... Very disappointing. I still think they missed the trick by not trading some players off the current roster for value. Should have cleared roster space, if not anything else
