    Before the dominance of Duran, I remember our closers in the past always seemed to have edgy moments and traffic on the bases routinely. But I agree that Gomez doesn't instill the same confidence and a regression might be coming. Possibly why they traded for Hoffman but his outings so far have even poor confidence levels than Gomez. Any chances that Prielipp gets bumped in there once Ryan returns, as has been a heavy conjecture around?

    Last season, there were trades you had to make and there were trades those were made just for the sake of making trades. Correa trade was weird in that sense as we got a player we knew had no value why even include him in the trade? If we bought on lottery tickets elsewhere why not choose a lottery ticket here? Also, I believe Hou had offered Walker in the negotiations .. Wouldn't have been a bad 1B option even with less money relief (we spent on Bell anyway)
