Danchat Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Twins are pitching their pants off with runners on base... offense needs to score more insurance runs. Can't expect them to stay perfect. Dozier's Glorious Hair and Shaitan 2

Thielbar needed to pitch to 3 batters min. He was brought into to pitch to Kiemaier... and it worked out; maybe not the way intended, but you get that from a veteran pitcher. wsnydes, PDX Twin and Mike Sixel 3
Western SD Fan Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Alex Rodriguez just needs to be quiet. I would rather listen to Dan Schulman from the Blue Jays than him. Micheal Kay is alright. ARod keeps bringing up all of these painful memories of watching Twins games against the Yankees and it's not necessary. rwilfong86 and Hosken Bombo Disco 2
Shaitan Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 It's about as pretty as Sunday's Vikings game, but I'll take the results so far. Bloop and a blast would feel amazing right now though.

Still going strong after 7 years. Appreciate it, I'm only 37, I don't smoke and I'm not obese so they think it may be a genetic defect coming into play now.

Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Why can't we get the players to swing at close pitches with 2 strikes , go down swinging is better than just standing there .... It's in the hands of the umpires to call balls and strikes , it's in the batters hands to swing away ..
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Is that the first pitch click violation in the playoffs?

He was never going to pitch to Kiermaier. We got lucky. Thielbar to Chaoman is a terrible matchup. And BECAUSE he has to pitch to 3 hitters it was almost guaranteed . Hosken Bombo Disco 1

insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 like yesterday Twins aren't exactly knocking the cover off the ball. But pitching and 'd' so far has carried the day. 9 huge outs to get.

Linus Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 Ump has been so inconsistent on inside part of the plate to lefties. It’s been a coin flip.
John Kelsey Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 For an ump with his type of scorecard, this guy has been awful.
Danchat Verified Member Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I look forward to when pitch calls can be challenged. It works well in the minors, it's time for it to be implemented in the majors.
