Rocco got abused again. Thielbar pitching to Chapman....and gets away with it.

What? Thielbar needed to pitch to 3 batters min. He was brought into to pitch to Kiemaier...  and it worked out; maybe not the way intended, but you get that from a veteran pitcher.

It's about as pretty as Sunday's Vikings game, but I'll take the results so far.

Bloop and a blast would feel amazing right now though.

Good luck with that. I've had a by-pass and valve replacement. Still going strong after 7 years.

Appreciate it, I'm only 37, I don't smoke and I'm not obese so they think it may be a genetic defect coming into play now.

Had my widow-maker back in 2004. On 10/8/2004...right when the Twins played NY. Believe me, Twins baseball isn't a calming endeavor.

My wife prepaid for my funeral. I've got a damn casket for a coffee table in the living room.

Isn't it time for a giant storm to sweep through and call the game?

That would have been a hilarious way to pick up their first playoff win to break the streak

Just do what the doctors tell you and make sure you let your loved ones know how much you care about them, every day.

Why can't we get the players to swing at close pitches  with 2 strikes  , go down swinging is better than just standing there  ....

It's in the hands of the umpires to call balls and strikes  , it's in the batters hands to swing away  ..

He didn't pitch to Kiermaier. He was never going to pitch to Kiermaier.

We got lucky. Thielbar to Chaoman is a terrible matchup. And BECAUSE he has to pitch to 3 hitters it was almost guaranteed .

like yesterday Twins aren't exactly knocking the cover off the ball. But pitching and 'd' so far has carried the day. 9 huge outs to get.

Double play seems like Thielbar got the job done.

Good advice.

These umps suck

They're so inconsistent, if they are consistently bad for both sides it's one thing but when they are inconsistently bad and only one side seems to get the worst of the calls it's horrible

I look forward to when pitch calls can be challenged. It works well in the minors, it's time for it to be implemented in the majors.
