I know it’s way too early because all could take a turn anytime … you know, regression to the mean … but what has you most pleased about the season so far?

Amongst all things, the pitch clock. I love the games lasting <3 hours most of the time. It does/will make it difficult to watch much after the kiddo goes to bed though.

Agree. Love the pitch clock. The shift restrictions too. As far as the Twins specific items, it's a little too early. So far, so good.

Buxton.  Even though I am reminded that he always has a strong April.  He is why you watch the game.  Hoping he is back in CF soon.  Anyone hitting .250 and above.

It will be interesting to see who replaces Kepler and how they do.

I have to agree with the pitch clock.  It makes watching games so much more exciting.  You have more action faster.  No more just watching guys do nothing with over a minute between pitches.

Larnach looks like a legit middle of the order hitter on a good team. To me that's huge.

The rotation so far has been really strong.

Can't argue with the pen so far, but I'll need to see more to believe in that.

I also love the pitch clock.

Bad:

I hate Buxton DH'ing, and not running.

DVR delay, you can watch the whole thing that way.  Fast forwarding through commercials makes it roughly a two beer event.

All of this. And the Buxton one will be on my next poll of what haven’t you liked so far 🙂

I chose "other" because it has been a real joy watching Max Kepler bat leadoff. I hope it happens forever, it's just so fun.

Hey, he got a hit before I got a job, or started jury duty, so that's a start.....

I voted yes, mostly because I'm obnoxious.

Oh, and those people that run the Game Threads are awesome.  That's what I've been pleased with most so far!🙂

Now for a serious response...

Larnach has impressed.  I'm looking forward to seeing Kirilloff joining him in that category.

Pitch clock is a MASSIVE plus.  Loving it!

Pitching has been very good so far.

The snark is high in this one

I went with the starters going 5+ innings. When is the last time we have 4 games in a row with 5 or more inning starts? Also big fan of the pitch clock.

Reeeeeaally don't like watching it on DVR delay.  Can just use the gameday app to get caught up. Just not my cup of tea to consume baseball.

Pitch clock, Larnach, and Alcala.  I know Alcala has not had a big impact yet but that additional depth in the BP is a big deal.

BTW .... Pitch clock is firmly in the #1 spot because this made an enormous positive impact that we will appreciate in every game for a very long-time.

I have been a Larnach fan since he was drafted.  It looks like he is reaching his potential as a great hitter just as I predicted.  But I voted for the depth because it re-inforces my belief in the front office.  I know I am in the minority on things such as a clock in baseball (hate it) and I like to be more positive as far as how tough it is to build a ML team on a middling budget, but I still love the game and I do respect all your opinions (for the most part).  I'd like to hear Blylevens', Katts', Carews', Hrbeks' and Mauers' opinions on the rule changes. It wouldn't change my opinion but I'd like to hear them just the same.  Enjoy the season and See you at the ballpark.

Things I like:

1) Loved the Gallo signing and I think he's legit.
2) Buxton played in four straight games under Rocco. I'm honestly not sure that has ever happened before.
3) No serious injuries among the pitching staff.

I still don't like:

1) Kepler
2) our bullpen/pitching depth

I like the pitch clock. Larnach is good (Hopefully he doesn’t get hurt TOO soon). BP seems a little shaky. Someone on here predicted Gallo would hit 50 HR’s this year. I, be been sarcastically posting: 49 to go! 48 to go!  Etc. I hope I get to under 25 to go! For everyone expecting Buxton back in CF soon:  Get used to Taylor (The starter!) to be out there at least 75% of the games. He may even get an extension. For all the Yeas! Out there, the schedule gets a LOT harder coming up. I predict the Twins win percentage at end of April will probably be what it is at end of season.

So far no SP are injured & pitching well, Larnach went from MLB? to mashing at clean up. Buxton is always enjoyable. Our Twins are 4-0. Go Twins.
