h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 4 errors on the Yankees, and I don't think a single run resulted from them.

I have never called for robot umps and never will. But strike 1 was a ball. Similar to what he k’d on. Been two different strike zones tonight

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Duffman does much better when used before the 8th inning, it seems
tony&rodney Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 When Buck is going good he can take that meatball pitch (outside middle of plate) with authority to right field. Tonight he has been trying to jack everything down the left field line and playing right into the pitcher's game. Byron needs to get it back together or if he is is still hurting he must go on the IL. Right now he is a hole in the lineup.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Maybe spoke too soon. Outs 1 and 2 haven’t been an issue tonight

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Same exact thing happened with minaya and cano. Nibble mode after two outs
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 So many pitches. Guys with marginal talent have to be so fine.

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 If we're going to lose this game I would prefer for Duffey to give up a HR here so he never pitches for the Twins again. Of course, I would prefer he not and we win this game.

Nibble mode after two outs I don't mind nibbling to Judge. The Yankees take so much pitches, it's rare for them to chase. I also don't think a close pitch has been called FOR a Twins pitcher yet.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Shocking that Duffy scuffled. Who could see that coming?

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Hate to call this a bright spot, but maybe this is the end in a Twins uni for Tyler Duffey.
AstrosTwins Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Can Duffy please pitch ANYWHERE but here. I mean, how much more do we have to watch??
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Want to know how a team loses 115 out of 162 games to the same opponent, rewatch this game. Opportunities missed and opportunities not missed
tony&rodney Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Tough for Falvey to ignore Duffey's incompetence. For those who say who else, the answer is anyone.
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Way to serve it up Duffey!!!!!
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Serious question, why was Duffy in this game?
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 Only 20 more innings to negotiate.
