Wtf is Rocco even doing anymore? He literally makes the worst possible decision every time and it seems like he lives off of the rush he gets from it

If the ump didn't job Duffy on strike 2 he wouldn't be forced to put one in the strike zone on 3-1.  Meatball either way.  

But like usual, Yankees come up with clutch hits and the Twins do not.

Can anyone think of a worse group of batters in Judge/Rizzo/Stanton for Duffey to face?  A hang-it-and-bang-it waiting to happen.

I’ve really liked Tyler Duffey, but it has been agonizing this year.
 

That said, if the Twins fired all the players that get burned in New York, there would be no Twins. The field is just so lopsided when one team gets to spend like that and gets the benefit of every call.

Twins will not win a playoff game until Rocco is relieved of his duties. Any time he is thrown out is a blessing for the team

In the rare instances when Rocco hasn't been managing the past few years (the COVID stretch earlier too), I've noticed the team doesn't play any differently... Plus the same exact complaints about the bullpen continued even when Tingler was managing, even with a few folks here complaining about Rocco's decision-making ability even when he wasn't out there.

They knew how embarrassing it was for the Yankees to have committed 4 errors and for the twins to have scored zero runs off of them. Thought they’d help us out a bit

Stop blaming Rocco for using Duffey.

He can't not use the relievers he's given. He has waiver wire claims and minor league free agents to choose from. The front office deleted his best reliever before the season. He gets 39 yr old Joe Smith and Pagan in return.

Don't know how many times this needs to be said: There are no spots for non-performing relievers in modern baseball. No low leverage spots. No place to hide anyone.

Get him some better relievers this winter.
