Wow. What a fantastic game....or last 2 innings. Ober was acceptable for his first game back from injury, the lineup, which was not pretty on paper, comes through for 7 huge runs in the last 2 innings after being absolutely lifeless for 7 innings. Cano wasn't good, and Rocco seemed to punt on this game, but Duffey came in and got outs after a big comeback. Megill appeared to have MLB stuff. And Duran is amazing, as we already knew. The biggest thing was Gio Urshella getting a go ahead base hit after sitting in the dugout for 7.5 innings.

What makes Duran special to me is that he is so often in the zone. Today he threw 17 pitches and 14 were strikes. 

ESPN had the Royals having a 99.5% chance of winning going into the eighth.
