Losing 3 straight to the Rangers is bad. Really bad. It's time to accept that this team isn't a legitimate contender, and reevaluate your expectations when watching games. I'll still watch when I can, and enjoy the players that are on the team, but this team isn't anything more than a .500 baseball team the rest of the year.

That's it, I think I'm finally done. No more watching or following the games. I'm just going to see the highlights and descriptions on the internet and in the newspaper. I can't take this anymore.

Not saying the plate ump is blind, but after that performance the league should require him to undergo a full MRI to see if there's brain damage. Just to be safe. Because he could be going blind.

And the season's likely over now. Not many teams are going to come back from an 11-19 start, especially ones with this bad of a bullpen.

Guess it didn't matter who starts the inning on 2nd base in extra innings - might as well put Kirby Puckett's statue out there - they are not going to score.

Meh, looks like my intro writing luck has turned...

Seemed like i couldn't lose in April, despite the fortunes of the team. Now, not so much.

Anyway, i look forward to us sweeping every game i don't introduce. It could be a good month indeed!

I don't think Rocco and Falvey are going to have a job by the end of the season.

Can't blame Rocco for not getting a hit there......this team is just not right right now.

i mean, you could blame him for pulling his starter at 86 pitches

It's like watching a rerun of your least favorite TV show from the 1980s.

like watching a rerun from a really bad Brady Bunch episode of the Cousin Oliver era..

In OT situations Rocco might as well tell his guys to swing for the fences. With this bullpen, they have no chance otherwise.

They might! I'm pretty sure the McDonald's down the road from me is hiring

Roster changes needed?  maybe not an overhaul, but sure would send some guys down to play everyday and learn to hit the baseball.  Or maybe, just maybe Cruz isn't the mentor clubhouse leader we thought he was with Sano and others.  How many games have we had double digits K's.  Bomba Mentality, live and die by the long ball.  Team is awful thus far

There’s a laundry list of things you can blame on Baldelli.

Isn’t his only job to get the team “right?” Unless they’re also paying him for janitorial services in the clubhouse.

It’s time to get rid of Baldelli. What an awful manager.

The lineup not hitting is not Rocco’s fault; A reliever who’s been rock solid thus far giving up a game-tying HR to catcher I’ve never heard of is not Rocco’s fault; Phil Cuzzi being an a-s-s is not Rocco’s fault

Falvey, I can understand but not Baldelli.

I already suspect they are going to blame the slumping offense on the lack of a bench coach.

Despite them having amble time to find a replacement bench coach.

At what point does Rocco get fired?

probably at the same point sano is released.

so, a while.

Hate to repeat a comment I made in another thread after the heat of battle, but I think we're seeing this team for what it really is - a non-contender. It's time to shift from a mindset of playing mediocre vets to stay a game or 3 more competitive and to move to developing younger players so we can hit the ground running next year. Moves to make ASAP:

Shoemaker released, Thorpe back up in the rotation (as soon as the rules allow).

Cave demoted or released, Larnach up.

Law up, Theilbar down.

Sano to AAA to find his swing when Kirilloff ready to come off the IL.

Find high leverage innings for Alcala, room for relievers from AAA.

Let's face it guys, this team doesn't have "it" that you need to contend. Better to get our younger players ready now than to keep older vets that don't really meaningfully contribute and aren't part of the future. Release them now and they can find a place to catch on.
