Indians fans seen crying after that...

Sad

[Blake]

I would assume this went exactly as Baldelli expected.

2 out of 3 in Boston.

Take that any day of the week and Sunday too.

[Blake]

You can't score if you don't even touch the plate. I think there's something to that effect in the Official Rules.

I wonder what the expression on Devers face was when he realized he was about to get tagged out?

[FLTwinsGuy]

I thought for sure that was gone

[operation mindcrime]

Magic Number: 16!

Let's sweep Cleveland and get it down to 10!!!!!!!!

[Riverbrian]

I was planning on going to bed after the game.

I'm a 53 year old Adult

I don't think I can sleep now.

I'm surprised my life turned out this way.

[Blake]

Well, after, maybe.

I was thinking it was more of an "Oh" face.

[Aggies7]

How about the defense all game though

[Squirrel]

Omg, what a game, what a game ending! Wow!

[nicksaviking]

I DONT EVEN HANG OUT NORMALLY IN GAME THREADS BUT I CAME HERE TO SAY:

woah

Clearly. You hang out abnormally in game threads

[ashbury]

I wonder what the expression on Devers face was when he realized he was about to get tagged out?

Disappointment, like any prime athlete. But I think I send him too, if I'm the 3B coach - two outs, fast runner, perfect throw needed - might be the better chance.

[Nine of twelve]

Annnnd.... Go Pack!

Whatever.

[Riverbrian]

How about the defense all game though

Yeah and from the usual cast of characters.

[Brock Beauchamp]

What would it take to permanently trade Bert for Kaat?

[Darius]

Excellent win tonight. Great pitching performance. Huge series win to cap off a huge road trip.

Another game on Cleveland. A game on Houston. A half game on New York. It doesn’t really get much better.

[ashbury]

What would it take to permanently trade Bert for Kaat?

Duensing as a sweetener?

[twinssouth]

THE THROW THAT ENDED THE GAME!

ROSARIO

Awesome Man, simply Awesome

[Halsey Hall]

What a way to end the game!  We stole one tonight, and good for Perez.

[Blake]

What would it take to permanently trade Bert for Kaat?

Bert and an ATBNL (announcer to be named later)

[wabene]

Football, every time I flip over... Commercial.

[ashbury]

I wonder what the expression on Devers face was when he realized he was about to get tagged out?

Cora in his post-game press conference confirms some things posted here: he thought that fly ball was out of the park, and he next thought it was a good send at third base, and he thought Rosario made a great play involving both hustle and a throw.

[Blake]

Perez vs. the Red Sox. What could go wrong????

Nothing?

[DocBauer]

So this happened.

And the baseball gods looked down and smiled and said; "this was good"!

[Blake]

Late innings both Cave and Rosario came through.

Perfect examples of how championships are won.

[Blake]

Hard to believe the heroes of the game are: Perez, Cave, Rosario and Astudillo.

My vote is a hypocritical yes. Anyone asking me to work 162 days a year when (if) I’m 80 is going to get an earful.

Remy and the Red Sox booth were commenting on that at the end, how good the Twins D was throughout the series.

They're homers, as usual, but the kind of homers who give deserved kudos to their opponents. They were actually a pleasure to listen to this series.

[Kelly Vance]

Rosario is money. Those that say trade him need to watch the end of this game... and remember his hitting last May and June
