  1. 🤡⚾🤡 I was born too late to see the St. Louis Browns play, but now it seems I have.
  2. 🤡🤪🤡😂🤡😅🤡⚾! Could this one have a more fitting climax? Good grief. 2 big chances to end it earlier, then the eventual 💩show starts.
  3. Holy 💩, Nance throwing BP right away.
  4. Welp, kids couldn't get it done in the 9th, the vets couldn't do it in the 11th. Gave this one away.
  5. Want me to tell ya how this game comes out? 😅
  6. Shucks. Too bad the kids couldn't get one between em. Oh, well, Fundy's buying beers for everyone tonight for getting off the hook after he got LIT.
  7. Welp. It's up to the Golden Boy. Come on, Jenks!
  8. He challenged the wrong pitch. Should have been the one before.
  9. And now the 2 kids with a chance to be heroes! 😃
  10. Will Royce redeem himself? Also having a tough day.
  11. Great AB by Jeffs there... 🙄 He's having a tough game.
  12. That is a miniseries waiting to happen. Or at the very least, a Lifetime movie. 🌵
  13. I just threw up in my mouth a little at the sloe gin reference... 😅🤢
  14. In meetings all day. Checking in periodically to watch them p*ss this one away, too. 👍
  15. I'll take any chance I can get to flog that one. I will never forgive them for the Louie thing. Never.
  16. LH corner outfielders are one thing, but we seem to be trying to corner the market on mediocre, slow, defensively challenged LH corner outfielders.
  17. That's what I've been thinking lately. But I agree, I think their hand is forced now. It's tough, because once he's on, there's no taking him back off. My new guess is they call up maybe Wallner and ERod, rather than taking the risk for next year. But from the injuries, and the effort and results of this road trip, this team is cooked for the year.
  18. Comes that whimsical time of year of most Septembers in Twinkie-land where boys and girls of summer have to start locking in their secondary teams that will still be playing base-ball in the autumn. The Cubs are always my go-to, since I lived about 4 blocks from Wrigley after leaving the Cities. For the AL, I'm going to go against my very DNA and start rooting for the White Sox. I'd love to see a Red Line Series. Heck, I'd even go back there to catch it. (Caveat: of course, literally anyone other than NY, Bos, LA, or any Texas or Florida outfit.)
  19. I'm gonna make a call here... Walker Jenkins tracks that ball down.
  20. What?!? They're taking out Warren Spahn?!? What are they thinking?
  21. Byron finding ANY kind of stroke with guys on would be a blessing.
  22. JHC, Kreidler. WtH Keaschall. I guess consistency is important. If you're gonna suck at the plate, might as well suck in the field too. Two of the most little-league throws I've seen all year. Call it, Zoll. Get the kids up here, hell, might as well get Wallner back up if you want. This team is not ready for a playoff run. Time to start working toward next year if there is one. Hells bells, there's even the lamest "At the Plate" segment: Food truck row! Gee whiz! A hot dog! Wow! Krinkle cut fries! Krinkle cut, d6is you hear me?!!
