    Welp, we let the Mets off the hook with our 💩ty BP again... Marginally better defense for one day, but the usual cold sticks flailing at the plate. But wow, I'm gonna have to watch the replay on mlbtv, and see those two young hurlers! Sounds like they did well! How cheeky of Sheldon to use em back to back?!? The one and only thing to do after letting the other team get off the deck: kick the ever-lovin crap out of them tomorrow.

    Welp, same script, different day. Let's see, the starter guts it out and gives the team everything it needs to win. But then... The defense gacks it up, the alleged "bullpen" has a daily implosion, the bats go cold, and here we are again, the same Twinkie Two-Step toward ignominious defeat. Ho-hum, this week is the whole season in a nutshell.

    Catching up- went out for a doggy walk at 4-0, came back to this. Cripes, if not for wallner, that's still a 4-1 game. And then of course, he redeeems himself by getting Kd with guys on right after. 🤦‍♂️

    Bailey really gutted one out today, and he deserves the win. But for the love of Pete, between wallner and brooks and this dumpster fire of a BP, we're gonna need more runs than 8.

    I'm sad to hear this news. I as excited when the Twinks got him with Reardon in 87, because he was a solid backstop. I was at the game when he got hit and broke his hand, and lost to the team for several months. (Although the game was good, Bruno tied it with a singer in the ninth, and Hrbek hit a walk off.) He would probably have been the #1 catcher, but then Launder and Sal took over, and performed capably. My condolences to his loved ones.
