    Zebby is such a puzzle. My God, the action on his slidery stuff, and that power arm- he really dotted a lot of pitches and smoked some guys, looking like a world-beater. Then he turns around and gives up molten ROCKETS! Duck, everybody! 🫣 I can't help but think this is what became of Nuke LaLoosh.

    Yoiks! I actually managed to fall back to sleep (later innings after 3am at my house), with the Royals radio on. I woke up sometime during the post game lament, and had to catch the replay, on the KC TV feed. It was like the old days of the Hawk: "In the air, deep right center..... (Pause)... Unbelievable. (Pause, pause)... Absolutely unbelievable." (Silence all the way around the bases). Boy, Kody really meth-cooked that slider from a pitcher with the haircut of a guy who looks like he knows how to score Sudafed in bulk... What a win!

    Welp, it's 3am here, woke up for old man reasons, and thought I'd check in on the game. Now I'm in a waking nightmare, and can't go back to sleep. Wow, this is pathetic, but thank God Taylor Rogers is on the hill now, so I can have night sweats, too.
