Well, I guess the FO doesn’t care about winning a World Series much less making the playoffs this year. Our 1 move was for a mediocre reliever? If there was a “window” for a World Series championship the window is now. We are darn near championship caliber NOW. There’s no guarantee next year (or the next 5) will still be within the window of opportunity for a championship. Players leave, players get injured, prospects don’t pan out. When you have the opportunity to go “all in” for a championship you take it. This is beyond sad.

Looks like the Astros got some separation from the rest of the AL. They got a lot better while the rest of the potential playoff teams did little to improve.

Dyson is a nice add but not enough. There was an opportunity this summer. And I don't think they took advantage.

What a weird deadline. Yankees and Red Sox did virtually nothing to improve their pitching. Houston traded for EVERYONE. Mets and Reds (non contenders) trade for two of the best starters on the market. Wheeler, Bumgarner, Vazquez, Minor don't get traded.
