9. Darwin Barney ( R) 2B

8. Ryan Goins (L) SS

7. Russell Martin ( R) C

6. Kevin Pillar ( R) CF

5. Kendrys Morales (S) DH

4. Jose Bautista (R ) RF

3. Justin Smoak (S) 1B

2. Josh Donaldson ( R) 3B

1. Teoscar Hernandez ( R) LF

Hope the Jays are happy with Happ (L) pitching.

That's the Blue Jays.

9. Max Kepler (L) RF

8. Chris Gimenez ( R) C

7. Mitch Garver ( R) DH

6. Eddie Rosario (L) LF

5. Byron Buxton (R ) CF

4. Eduardo Escobar (S) 3B

3. Jorge Polanco (S) SS

2. Joe Mauer (L) 1B

1. Brian Dozier ( R) 2B

And we call on Colon ( R) to toe the rubber.

That's our Twins.

Things we thought about:

5. Oppo Day. You might notice something different here... I had to wait all night to see Buxton's Game winning home run. Am declaring today Oppo day in the hope today's walk homer(s) can happen right off the bat.

4. Today's Joe M. Conversation.

Joe Montana: Wait. What are we doing here?

Joe Madden: It's a game thread intro. Can't we be in all of them?

Joe Mauer: I am late for Batting Practice. And this only once per series. Like always taking the first pitch. Anyway, Bye.

Joe McCarthy: I plead the 5th. I am just going to remain silent.

Joe Miranda: He has the right to.

Joe Montana: As are we all.

3. Blue Jays. They are a pro team. They will try to win. And they got some players that traditionally mash us. Let's break with that tradition, please.

2. Twins.

1. Brainerd.

Smart people live there. And even they couldn't decide, so in true chief fashion... Yes.

Isn't that where Paul Bunyan protects the melted puddles remaining from the wall that kept Wildlings and Others up North? He is the only remaining giant of Nordic origins, as he bought into Odin's sabrmetrics...

I originally thought about presenting my 5 thoughts like a countdown 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

However... I was worried something would explode after the countdown.

My brain exploded after reading the intro......so not far off.

Breaking the fourth wall. Nicely done.

Good to see Kepler in against the lefty.

You can't improve against lefties on the bench. I hope he succeeds. We need him too.

I'm glad Garver and Kepler are in the lineup. I'm hoping they get some hits, Kepler needs to start hitting lefties and Garver just needs this chance to start hitting and stick in the lineup.

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm feeling a big loss today. I don't think Colon is going to strand 8+ runners again, plus Happ is pretty good.

Don't fret. Big Bart's got this.
