It's a mistake to bring Colon out for the 7th, and I don't care what the result is.

 

You have like 10 relievers out there.

 

Heck, it was questionable to bring him out for the 6th.

 

 

Yeah, 10 relievers.  In a close game, maybe 3 or 4 of which have earned any confidence.  And two of those guys probably aren't available.

I HATE the Twins bullpen.  I STILL like any of them better than another inning of Colon tossing beachballs.

I don't understand why a team like the jays travels well. Before their recent run of success, they couldn't fill a 1/4 of their stadium

I'll take the unproven relievers over the guy with an era of 6 on the year and a scary last few innings.

Problem is Molitor is screwed if he sends Colon out there or throws Pressly out there. 

 

I do, however, get sick of seeing a pitcher start an inning, pitch terribly, and then get pulled just for the inherited runs to score.

Pressly to start the inning isn't a bad choice.  Sometimes he's bad, but a lot of times he's pretty good.  But in any case he's miles better than sending Colon out there again, hoping for more luck.

 

I've said this before, I'll say it again:  Lose a game late with the bullpen?  That's probably on the bullpen.

 

Lose a game late with your starter?  That's probably on the manager.

For Jays fans in say Winipeg, Minneapolis is a helluva lot closer than Toronto.
