It's gonna take some time for me to collect my thoughts on all this... so much action. Bradley for Jax straight-up is odd, not that Taj doesn't have value but I thought the price on Jax was "sky-high" after moving Duran? Bradley has upside but he's been sub-replacement level this year, and do we really need another starter to fix up? Is Lopez getting moved this offseason, then the rotation is Ryan-Ober-Bradley-Abel-SWR/Festa?

Moving Varland despite having 5 years of control of him is wild, given I thought he was going to inherit the closer role... I guess they need hitting and Roden probably winds up at 1B. Fangraphs has those two Jays prospects as their #3/#6 prospects, so that's a good value for Varland (France is worth nothing) if they pan out.

Wowza!

They basically kept Jeffers because they need a catcher, right? Otherwise I'm shocked he and Larnach are still here.....

So, who is the new 1B? Sabato or Julien?

Martin will clearly be up. And Outman, sigh, will be in MN.

But no idea on the pitchers. Ober will be back. And I'm guessing Abel has to come up in a week or two.

What did the call with the Red Sox just get disconnected at 5;59?

The Jays system is weak, but it is ok value.

5:10PM: Ryan isn’t heading to Boston, as MassLive.com’s Chris Cotillo hears from a source that the two sides were “not even close” to completing a trade.

They say that, but the price for Duran and Jax were supposedly sky-high and didn't end up bringing back as much as we thought. May as well hold onto Ryan for now if they don't receive a king's ransom.

Twins got a 26 YO non-prospect back for Correa who was released by the Giants earlier this year. LMFAO, Falvey is such an idiot

With a sell off of this magnitude, I have no doubt he was dictated to get rid of as much salary as he can. Clean slate for the new owners. Almost every decent prospect we acquired are A ball level talents.

I have no idea if they did well today.  If every one of these moves is garbage at least I can say this much:

They didn't piddle around and do nothing.  It's an absolutely crazy sea change in the organization and that much, at least, was something I wanted to see.

Now let's do a similar gutting of those above the players.  Starting with the ones cutting checks.  (Sorta.  Handing out pennies?)

Twins traded 10 players off there major league roster, is there any precedent for this. Owners went full blown we dont care if 20 fans show up the rest of the season.

The salary shedding is what it is. But these returns are a joke We just witnessed quiet quitting in an MLB front office. Falvey must have called 1 team per player and no counter offers.

Eh, nothing would've been preferable to something if the Jax, Duran, or Varland moves are garbage.

This is the most stunning sell-off that I have ever seen!  The Twinkies are genuinely,  randomly GIVING AWAY players now...and not just middling players, but top shelf talent!  Amazing the trades!  Jax, Duran, these trades make no sense.  The Duran trade was seriously lopsided, but then Jax, just stunning.  WOW!

I imagine that another potential buyer walked away from the Pohlads, so young Joe Pohlad said "GO AHEAD, sell whatever, dump them all, let's get this team salary cost wayyyy down...I am tired of this....nobody likes me anyways so f##K them!  Let them see what I can do!"

I am amazed that Buxton and Jenkins, Lewis and Lee are still here!
