    The lineup conveniently placed all the hits next to non hitters to minimize damage (runs scored). Our RISP has sucked for the last 50+ games. Its as if we are tanking.

    Buck isnt going to take away AB’s in ‘27. He will get his and everyone else will get theirs. We actually should have a nice mix of LH and RH OF bats. Hendry Mendez should spend the offseason learning 1B. Dude has the bat already. Tinney might be in Wichita by July so Royce might be playing his last season n MN. Houston and Winokur need to bring their best AB’s to AAA in ‘27. They, along with Mendez should be the ‘27 rookie crop standouts! A few other guys in AAA and AA need to develop their game to get any serious run in MLB. Tanking is probably in the best long term interest of the ‘26 Twins. Get your development in but lose on the scoreboard. A top 6 pick would be nice next July!

    Any small market team (revenue sharing payee) that picks in the top 6 for 2 consecutive seasons is not eligible for the lottery the next season. Houston was pick #16 in 2025 so the Twins will be in the lottery in ‘27

    Pretty sure Buck has made it clear that he is staying here and playing with these kids. If only we had a 1B man ….. Its been malpractice that Erod had to wait this long to debut!! 2027 is gonna be exciting after the lockout…..

    If the Twins signed Erod to an MLB contract, they will not be able to stash him in AAA even for a day. ….and they should sign him to an extension and play him in MLB. He has a huge upside allstar ceiling.

    He should be in MLB. Its not like his lack of hitting would have cost the Twins a playoff spot.

    Emma must have rubbed someone in mgmnt the wrong way. They are always looking in a different direction when it comes to bringing up young guys. He has been on the 40 man and been ignored for 2 seasons. Injuries are only part of the story. There has to be more.

    If the Twins offered Jeffers 3 yrs $60M his agent would get him 6 years $125M from a big spending team. Anyone that thinks he will be a Twin next season is dreaming.

    This isn't hard to understand. The Pohlads got here by being cheap. Lackey is gonna look good in a twins uniform but not until late ‘27 or ‘28. In the mean time, Jeffers will sign elsewhere and we get a top 40 pick as compensation. Jeffers will likely be wearing Yankee pinstripes for the next 6 years. Gaaah.
