  1. Might make sense to give him the 8th and 9th for 60 games and try to get 120 innings out of him.
  2. Meh. He wont be 24 until August. He is still a kid so why put him on a short leash. I would cut him a whole lot of slack and let him toss the ball.
  3. Im still high on Raya. I understand that he had a tough season last year but until you give him some innings in MLB, you will never know if he can get guys out at the highest level. I would prefer that to happen in ‘26 since he has been on the40 man since 11/24. Wasting an asset in AAA doesn’t make sense. Now if he has a horrible ST and something goes sideways, I would totally understand him staying in St. Paul.
  4. Festa and Raya as the next closing tandem makes 💯 greatness in ‘26 and beyond.
  5. What hasn’t been considered in this post is that Rojas, Preillip and Raya are right behind this group and you could throw a couple other guys as well. There can/will be plenty of next man up opportunities/candidates.
  6. Festa should be made into a demon of a closer. He may get one last chance in ‘26 as a starter but he has a long way to go to stay in the rotation!
  7. Who cares if he hits 30 HRs, 20HR and 50 stolen bases with a .400 obp is much more valuable to a line up.
  8. There is a world where Abel finds his rhythm and absolutely becomes a top of the rotation ace. He is a huge question mark right now but don’t bet against him.
  9. Fully healthy all season long, he will have a monster season. As could several Twins that are candidates for bounce back seasons.
  10. Drafting and development have changed drastically in the past 6 years in the twins organization. We are just starting to see the fruits of the labor.
  11. The Timberwolves, Vikes and Wild have a GM/ownership that go all in when its go time. It hasn’t worked out yet but at least they try.
  12. This sucks for Pablo but not the Twins. We all expected a very tough long season and this simply gives more guys an opportunity. One or two guys will inevitably rise to the occasion and next season we will have less questions going into 2027…. If there isn’t a lockout. Injuries are part of the game. Get over it.
  13. By august, all these 35yo’s will be bench coaches or we will be 25 games over .500 with an absolute shut down bullpen.
  14. He just turned 25. He is on a delayed developmental path that puts him in MLB this year with elite skills. No doubt he gets the call, wherever they need him at. There are a crazy amount of questionable arms in the organization this spring and most won’t be around in 2 to 3 years but CP will definitely be here and getting tons of outs.
  15. Exactly. Id rather have Stewart on the 60 day than outman on the 26 man.
  16. The dodgers really aren't out anything. They dumped a guy they were gonna dump and have a guy that if healthy in sept/oct will get them outs. the twins lose because they have no need for outman but Stewart would be nice in a couple weeks/months when healthy.
  17. KC clearly has the chops to be an above average MLB SS. No one should be worried about his athleticism. He has only 2 recent seasons at the position so you have to expect that he will develop more this season. The difference maker is his approach to the game and his leadership skills. He has all of that which Lee and Lewis both seem to lack. KC probably shouldn’t and wont be the Twins opening day SS in ‘26 but if his growth continues, you have to expect him to be an MLB regular soon. July 1, 26’ is a legitimate over/under betting date for the call up.
  18. It’s fine. We’re fine. It’ll be fine. Pohlads are in charge…. All is good. 🤣😂🤣
  19. We don’t have an established SS going into ‘26 but wasn’t that the point of blowing up the roster and shedding C4 & part of that horrible contract? We will find/develop a SS but it wont happen in a few days or weeks. Give it time, someone will take the job and run with it.
  20. At this point, does it matter who performs well in the outfield? Give the fans someone who is above average and everything. If it’s Roden, we should be his biggest fans. If he crashes and burns, we get to curse Falvey. It’s a win/win.
  21. Hoarding AAA talent until 1. Injury 2. Trade.3 development from within. Its a good minor league signing.
  22. I expect some to be convert to RP at some point but no way to predict which ones and when. Im not even sure we are done signing/trading for pitchers yet.
  23. The smart money is Preillip, Raya and Matthews starting the season in ST.Paul as starters with Abel and Rojas. Any one of them could get called up due to injury, fatigue or poor performance. It would not surprise me if Festa is also in that list but it sure would be cool to see him in the bullpen on opening day. the chances of Outman, Roden and Kreidler and possibly Clemons being in the show for more than a month or two are slim. I see regression in Clemons but hope that I am wrong! I am still betting on an epic rookie crop that will be the center pieces of a quick reset and a really fun season.
  24. We need two guys to take the late inning closer role and thrive at it. Same thing with the 6th/7th inning stopper role. Anyone on the roster can be mop up bulk guy. We need to find the specialists. Should have that figured out by 5/1
