He was my Adopt-A-Prospect back when he was drafted, so I will say yes. 😊

Keep that suitcase packed Michael! Michael Tonkin was claimed by the Yankees. Since the end of the '23 season, Tonkin has been non-tendered by the Braves, signed by the Mets (made the Opening Day roster), DFA'd by the Mets, claimed by the Twins, DFA'd by the Twins, claimed by the Mets, DFA'd by the Mets, and claimed by the Yankees. He will have pitched for three teams by the end of April.

Wade seems like the guy that always just needed a shot.  I mean he hit .253 with 18 Hrs in 2021 and .256 with 17 in 2023.  Pretty good production.  His 2022 was down and his games were down so maybe he was dealing with some injuries that year or something.  But my point is, if we were guaranteed .250 20 Hrs and an .800 OPS from Wallner we'd all be giddy about it.  I hope Wade keeps producing for the Giants.

He had a good run, If I recall correctly, we got him in the Liriano trade, and the expectations were fairly low at that point. But he stuck around and ended up being a darned good player for many years. If this is the end for him, so be it, but he can be proud of the good years.
