I didn't even think he was a short term answer! . But seriously, if he had remained a deep backup and P/H (who was used that way) he was better than some of the alternatives. I imagine the first day of every week the pitchers would draw straws to see who got the short one. And him. I thought he looked like he had bad hands last year, and I doubt anything has changed.
