Totally agree. With one caveat. I am not much of a "I just wanna get in the playoffs guy". I want a fair chance to do some damage. And if the powers that be get a chance to make a move that would be controllable, and greatly improve us in the next three years, while we are still muddling around .500, I would look seriously at it. I know that's a narrow caveat, but I wouldn't put all my eggs in this years basket either.

That’s fair. And I’m not saying I’d be happy with another one and done trip to the playoffs. However, it’s a different animal. In a short 5 or 7 game series, I think it could be anyone’s game whether you have the best record or a .500 record going in. That’s why I said the decision to sell is a tricky one for us. But ... I still think we have a team that can. We’ll see where we are in a month. But for right now that talk is too soon, even with some of the disappointing play so far this season.

So? That’s not a guarantee of being swept in the playoffs. Oh I’m not saying the win yesterday and today indicate we’re World Series bound; that would be laughable. However, we are in a weak division and we could still be division champs. With solid pitching in 5 and 7-game series, it’s also not so far fetched that we could make a decent showing in the playoffs. It’s just too soon to count us out and start selling off pieces. If in a month we’re buried in the central standings, then of course. In a weak division I think the decision to sell shouldn’t be made so lightly or so easily.

Yeah I feel considering; no Santana, no Mauer, no Buxton, no Polanco, no Castro and having missed a big stretch with no Sano that the Twins are actually doing alright. Especially if they can get on a little hot streak and get back to or close to .500. Everyone is talking about the teams that beat the twins, and the nay Sayers will say that you can't ignore those losses to Seattle, and Tampa, etc... However then on the flip side you can't ignore series win against Houston. Really they haven't been destroyed to badly lately, yeah they had a very bad stretch against the Yanks and Tampa, but almost all the losses to Seattle were like one run losses and Romero lost to Ohtani by like a run or two, so they have been in most of the games this month. Had they turned 3 or 4 of those games around they'd be right in the hunt.

Also some other team right now that is 5 or 6 games over .500 goes on a little losing streak in June or July which brings them back to .500 and everyone would be saying don't panic, they are right in this thing. So basically we as the fans would like to have seen a hotter start over the first 50 or so games than what they did. Had they gone 28 - 22 we'd all be singing cum by ahh. However if they have that kind of a stretch over the next 50 games then they are right back in the thick of it. So let them play and they could surprise us, last year they went into sell mode and all of the sudden they made a nice run.

Now if they go and have another 50 game stretch like the last one then this year will pretty much be over and they will have to do what they got to do. But right now let them play.

No, pellet grill are the way to go.

You've never had ribs until you've had some done on a pellet grill.

my dad has a pellet smoker, it’s awesome for large slabs, roasts, ribs. The temperature consistency is amazing.

For small cuts and poultry I prefer my charcoal. It has a fire box and cast iron grate, so you can apply direct and indirect heat. Works great with chips
