Game Thread: Twins v Cleveland, 6/2 @ 3:10pm CT

[Nine of twelve]

Das ist gut, yeah?

Ja!

[jimmer]

I love it when I make the long trip to Minny and the team plays great!

[Nine of twelve]

When a good opposing team gives us a break we need to turn it into some runs.

And that’s what we’ve done.

Not plural yet.

[Squirrel]

Das ist gut, yeah?

Nein.

Das ist gut, ja?

Edit: damn auto correct

[Mill1634]

That time it was bad baserunning.

[Jham]

Very entertaining game so far. don't know what all the fuss is about Garver.. he's bad at everything.

[jimmer]

Yes!!!!

Plural!

[Mill1634]

RYAN!!!!!!

[GCTF]

LaMarre, with LaBasehit.

[Jham]

As pitchers adjust to hitters changing swing paths to achieve better lift, a guy like Lamar with a more high to low swing could benefit.

Plural!

Pluraler!

One batter, then another few minutes delay. Maybe they should keep relief pitchers in a silo, then dump them onto the mound from a chute. Farmer approved!

Bad platerunning?

[Nine of twelve]

All I know is, we'll need at least four more runs to cinch this.

And there ya go!

[Monkeypaws]

Wow, turn on 3-1 game wand watch a nice 4 spot from the bottom of the order.

The FS1 feed, it sounds like I'm hearing vuvuzelas when the Twins do something good.

Not a promotion today perchance?

[Richie the Rally Goat]

I suppose the old self unloading blower type would cause to many injuries? .

[mrmpls]

How can the front office think we can even survive 4 more months with these catchers  anyone know much about wilson austilldo kid at rochester? his bat seems ok, Garver is not a long term answer

[Nine of twelve]

Nice inning by H!

[Twodogs]

Does Hildenberger normally throw 94 or is the radar gun off??

[VATwinsFan]

7-1 going into the bottom of the 7th.

See how easy this is?

[Squirrel]

Not plural yet.

I was obviously premonitioning.

[glunn]

Holy cow. I am glad that I am recording this at home.

[VATwinsFan]

So I see in the NCAA tournament today Dallas Baptist beat Oral Roberts 18-9.

If only Notre Dame was in that bracket the potential is there for a thread all its own.

He will throw over the top and hit 93-94 for strikeouts every now and then.

I didn't even think he was a short term answer! . But seriously, if he had remained a deep backup and P/H (who was used that way) he was better than some of the alternatives. I imagine the first day of every week the pitchers would draw straws to see who got the short one. And him. I thought he looked like he had bad hands last year, and I doubt anything has changed.

I heard he hates puppies, too.

Gotta go charcoal. Only more proof that he can't do anything right!
