I think it is all going other than Ryan (don't see the return), Correa (they don't want to pay), and Vazquez (if they have to pay). Agree that one of Walner or Larnach is a high possibility.

I want to see who plays for St Paul in the rained out game which it turns out was a blessing for tea leaf readers

It'll be cold water in the face to see our lineup and roster in Cleveland Friday. And let's see who isn't playing for the Saints tonight.

Exhilarating! (Maybe.)

I'm sure we'll see Keaschall and Ober activated, possibly Julien and Martin. Not sure about pitchers, they will need a few....

I'm not sure I get trading Stewart and Duran.....

I'll say this, there seems to be a fervor here to make a bunch of trades. I'm presuming everyone is cool with the team putting no effort into winning next year then? Even if the Pohalds do sell? Because I don't think you trade away your controllable bullpen one year and then expect to be a contender the next.

I want Abel to have some AA or AAA time but.. I guess we still have Jonah Bride. Willi should fetch a little talent huh.

They think there are overpays right now for relievers.   Are they correct.  I think the Duran deal was good to great, but I know many have a different opinion.  The Bader trade is very very good.  We still have 3 very good releivers to build around.  Jax, Varland and Sands.   If one of those names get traded we are in firesale territory.

I could see Sim going to the pen when Bailey is recalled.. or Festa.

I have no faith in ownership to give the Front Office enough money to make this team competitive with contracts, so that means we have to win with prospects and prospect capital.  It was clear this version was not going to be able to get it done.  I actually thought this version had the ability to win a WS.  Alas we are kicking the can.

Would that be much different than the last 2 years? They've killed their fanbase, might as well go down in a blaze of glory I guess.

I don't think Abel and Tait are bad I just didn't see the urgency to move Duran at deadline. Could have seen similar to same level of trade in off season.

Fair. Who knows, maybe the Dodgers DFA him again once any of their 20,000 pitchers on the IL make their return

I do think the Brock Stewarts are the easiest lotto tickets to identify. The guys who performed well enough as a starter in AAA that their original team dabbled with them as a starter and couldn't fully commit to them being a reliever seem to have a high hit rate for their next team. Or their current team if they finally realize they should be a reliever.

It's a thing for the White Sox, or the Orioles. Not us.

They are both arguable better teams at the moment.

Sorry if that is bad news.

More moves to be made! France/willi/jax moved??? Going to be a whole different team tomorrow. Realistically it’s going to be 3 years before twins contend-let’s hope new ownership happens.

They did, but that was with a Royce Lewis that was all world and Carlos Correa was producing AND both of them were healthy. Turns out he's a fairly middle of the road player after all, Correa is slumping and aging and both have been end of the order type hitters rather than the 2-3-4's we though they were.

Exactly. The effort yesterday was not unique. It’s been going on for several years now, unchecked. We’re going to stink in the near future, but we stink pretty bad right now too.

By math purposes he would have been worth at least 25% less.   With 3 post seasons,  really value wise maybe 1/3 less.  We don't get this deal in the offseason.

The Twins are only getting "prospects" in return but the Twins near term prospects do not appear good. Unless we are joining the Gold Rush. Then were have all the prospectors we need.
