Who on Earth are Cleveland going to move onto when Fry's been pummelled enough? I can see bringing in a position player in your last half-inning, even if I don't like it - but in the sixth?

On the plus side this bodes well for Luplow if he gets in the game. I think half his hits as a Twin are against position players.

I understand that Cleveland needs every pitcher possible for the next few games and beyond, but I very much dislike ant time any team uses a position player to pitch.

Maybe the Twins can score 13 more runs and then let Castro or Luplow pitch.

Using a position player to pitch in the 6th inning is about as bush as you can get.  I would hope the Twins would pile it on,  if possible.  Francona's move may be cute, but he just quit managing this game. Maybe he should retire.  This is not respecting the game.

The Cleveland broadcast explained… if you are up 10 runs you can have a position player pitch the 9th. If you are down 10 runs you can have a position player pitch anytime. Ohtani is listed officially as a two way player

National Media won't call it "bush".  Media will paint it as outside the box or savy or some such.  Francona is a MLB made guy

CLE has to win one or two of these, and wasting a single relief inning on a 12-1 loser is a mistake. It takes some courage to throw in the towel on a game this early so I don't care who is out there right now..
