wabene Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Getting ahead of things, but hopefully the only pitchers used tonight are Lopez and Headrick. Winder only used 5 pitches last night so maybe him too.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 As someone who pretty meh about"waiver-gate".... this is why. Giolito was terrible with the Angels and continued on tonight.

Brandon Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I wat to see Lopez finish with at least 12 strikeouts so he can take over the lead in the AL.

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Let's see if Lopez can strand another runner
GusGus11 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Guardians really make Pablo work. Kinda got his number a bit But hes limiting the damage and thats really all that matters tonight.

rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 On a side note Jorge Lopez was waived by the Marlins and re-acquired by Baltimore. Hopefully he can be the guy he was for them last year.

PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Lewis is up with the bases loaded. It definitely couldn't possibly happen again, could it?
CRF Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Lewis again with the bases juiced! Can he?

Beast Verified Member Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 What more can be said about Royce Lewis at this point. Holy cow. Lopez may get through 7 here, which is massive. Correa, despite his troubles this year, still has his head up and is active in the dugout (cheering guys on, talking with others, laughing, etc.). The leadership is still there. Even the biggest haters have to respect that. Overall, this feels like somewhat of a statement game.
