More new logo leaks

This time we get to see the script. All right, I’m on board with this. A pretty classic, clean look to it.

The script is OK, I guess. Better than the ugly 1960's script. But when I look at it I see T u π n s. I know there's a dot there but it can't overcome the third-rate mathematician in me.

With a script like this we should win the World Series. NOT. Absolute waste of money. They should spend their money on winning, that's what sells merchandise. I wouldn't buy one even if we were winning.

I’m probably in the minority, but I hope they bring back the pinstripe gray road uniforms with the block letters.

I’m kind of anti-pinstripes, but I prefer the cream pinstripes over the baby blues, any day.

And I’m probably in the minority as I don’t really care about any of this. That won’t make a difference to me, but who wears the uniforms will.

If you click on the tweet you can see a Miranda shirt and a dark colored shirt with Minnesota on the front. I'm thinking that is also a new uniform design as well.

Sometimes change is good...and sometimes change is just change. I'm not real impressed with the logo on the pennants. I don't care for the dash like connection in between the "W" and the "I". That kills it for me. I sure hope there's something better than this coming up.

Just my opinion...I'm actually old enough to have used, and can use, cursive handwriting. When I write "Twins" in cursive, I connect the W and the I at the bottom of each letter, not in the middle of each letter. For me, to connect them in the middle like that looks very strange. It just doesn't look right.

The w connecting the i at the top is how I learned cursive in the 80s

i like the cursive scripts

like the Twin cities text on the pennant, not sure if I like the “Anaheim angels” bit, if they expand on that idea… the joke is fun when it’s spoofing the angels

I didn't see anything wrong with it until your comment, but now it looks like a final tweak is necessary to move up the bar that connects 'w' and 'i' or else add a bit more space between the letters.

This is my favorite part of the redesign. The current script with multiple strokes pains me to no end as a designer. It's just sloppy.

The blue jersey looks like they could be influenced by the old St. Paul Colored Gophers uniforms.  I think they wore them on Negro League Day a few years back.  It had reached the point where the Twins, Nationals, Braves, and Guardians all looked very similar, so I'm okay with trying something different so as not to blend in.  Hopefully we'll win more games in the new uniforms.  That will help more than anything to make fans like them.

The first time I looked at this the W and I mashed together for me like a lot of people are mentioning, but now that I'm a little more used to it it doesn't seem so confusing. Good cleaned-up evolution/merging of the past two script logos. I prefer the really big underline over the smaller "win" underline, but I can understand why they went with the small one.

I read on another website that one of the problems with the old "TC" was that the red and blue were too similar in shade, and blended together for colorblind viewers (or in black and white photography), and for this reason I kind of wish that the all-white TC that we see on that Twin Cities pennant was the main version of the TC.

I see some "Minnesota" merch on here, but if they could actually change their name to the Twin Cities Twins that would actually be pretty cool. But also, referencing the W from the Washington Senators logo is also unbelievably cool. Hard to decide which possibility I like more.

That Miranda "jersey" is definitely a tee shirt and I have no idea how representative it is of the actual jerseys.

Its not really 1960s cursive though.  The n would have 2 humps. Like this one. The perfect Twins jersey.

I *really* like the home whites in their simplicity. I'm pretty meh on both the road blue and the script. Nothing really wrong with either, it's just pretty indistinguishable from a bunch of other uniforms.

Yeah, has a definite Wolves vibe, which I'm not crazy about. I'd like something more historically classic for the road uni.

The white tops look nice and I agree on the navy alternate as well. I don't think it's much of a step up from the old navy top, and that one looked like a Target knock off jersey IMO.
