I know Budweiser is a huge operation. But there is absolutely no way they can make enough beer to quench a Twins fans search for simple competence.

Hey, the Twins game is on, time to drink!

Narrator: “Don’t just drink your pain away with any old alcohol, show your pure self-loathing by drinking something you hate. Something truly awful.

Drink Budweiser:”

Budweiser is the only beer I know of where it does not always taste the same.  It's like those $5 bottles of wine at Target.  You just don't know what you are getting.

It is true that no lead is safe with the Twins, but not in the way this was intended.

From BAH-stahn.

I've pretty much got my Maine and Boston accents down now. About the only phrase that throws me is, "Watta bahgen." I never know if they're heading out to the water park or just got a good deal on their last purchase.

Does it somehow taste better, or worse, than normal budweiser? because if it tastes like that late inning Twins play....wowsers.

It probably tastes like tears and frustration with a touch of anger aftertaste.

No marketing campaign - even this miscue should encourage more Bud guzzling.  Budweiser is St. Louis Cardinals beer. AND  Miller is Milwaukee Brewer beer.  Don’t drink them.at Twins Games

.At the Old Met, the beers were all Minnesota brewed.  Grain Belt, Schmidt, Hamm’s.   Then the boring national brands started creeping in.   Let’s get back to Minnesota Beers at the Minnesota Twins Games, especially the craft beers.
Unless it’s Grain Belt - Don’t drink Bunny P____ (just wasn’t sure whether that last word is allowed here - it should be!).

Furthermore, I don’t drink a beer at a Twins game until the 4th inning at the earliest.  Over the years, I missed too many exciting plays while standing in the men’s room.   It’s even worse since the radio broadcast has been blasted inside those formerly silent confines.  At least, I I used to be able to be oblivious and enjoy my moment of physical relief but not any more.

It has been a very, very long time since I bought a traditional American mega-brewery beer.

Honestly if you have local craft breweries nearby why would you?  I mean craft breweries tend to be more expensive but the difference in taste is like night and day, heaven and earth.  Local Craft brews taste SOOOOOO MUCH better than mega brewery produced beers.   It's not even a contest.

I agree that local brews almost always much higher quality (IMHO). But beyond that I'd much rather have my beer purchases support local businesses instead of large multinational corporations.

It's Budweiser. Their target market isn't big on competence.
